Celebration At Tilda's Town

Hi everyone, Friday at last and time for another challenge at Tilda's Town, our theme this week is 'Celebrate', so I went for a Birthday Card.

I've coloured Tilda With Big Icr Cream in with Distress Markers, and added glamour dust and aged aqua frantage.

The papers are from Pion Designs new collection, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

All of the links are at the end of the post.

I can't miss my arty shot out, lol.

I'm sorry, I don't know what has happened to my photo's, but I have so many cards to schedule before I go away, and then packing for a family of four I just havn't had time to take more.

Add Sparkle At Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, time for another challenge at Midweek Magnolias, our theme this week is 'Add Sparkle'.

I couldn't stay away from purple, lol. I've coloured Tilda in cotton dress with distress markers and made her crown sparkle with glamour dust. There is also a sprinkling of shabby white frantage around the image.

The papers are from Maja Designs Vintage Spring basics 6x6 pad, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

I've used one of the gorgeous Melissa Frances crown embellishments, and then frantaged it with shabby white.

The roses are from WOC, there are links at the end of the post to the other ones, have you seen how cute those little diddy organza roses are?

If all things go to plan I'll be in the air on my way to Zante when this post goes live.

Hugs,

I've used papers from Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 pad, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn with cream top stitch thread.

I've coloured Wallflower in with Distress Markers, adding glamour dust for subtle sparkle. I've used oodles of shabby green frantage around the image and also on the Melissa Frances butterfly.

The roses are from WOC, there are links to everything else at the end of the post.

My arty shot ;)

Aren't her shoes fab? I think she has such a lovely expression on her face too.

Add Sparkle With The Ribbon Girls Magnolia Challenge

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card for the Ribbon Girls Magnolia challenge, this month our theme is 'Add Sparkle'.

I've coloured Tilda in with distress markers, and added sparkle to the hearts with startdust stickles.

The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 pad, I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them with topstitch thread.

How blingy is that butterfly? I've used button twine to fasten it to the die cut (with a bit of glue behind it to stop it from falling up).

My arty shot, the pink roses are from WOC, links to everything else are at the end of the post.

Short and sweet, we go on our hols on Wednesday, hopefully a week in the sun, and I have to get all of my DT stuff made and published, we're at a Christening today and I haven't yet started to pack, eeek.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Hair That's Different at Saturated Canary

Hi everyone, I can now let you know what my good news e-mail was last week, Krista has asked me to join the DT at Saturated Canary, told you it was fab news!!

Our theme for this challenge is 'Hair That Is Different', I've wanted to try this for a while, but I've not been brave enough, I did have blue streaks a few weeks ago, but that was as adventurous as I got, lol.

I've coloured Tilly in with distress markers and added loads of sparkle with glamour dust.

The papers are from Maja Designs 'Shall We Have Coffee' collection, I've distressed the edges with walnut stain AND with a distress tool and then machine sewn them with top stitch thread.

I've added Aged Wine frantage to the image too, I think you can probably tell how I'm loving this stuff at the moment.

My arty flower shot, the roses and sweetheart blossoms are from WOC, the rest are from The Ribbon Girl, as always there are links to what I have used at the end.

The sun popped out as I was taking this picture (it was hail stoning when I started), it's made her look a bit wishy washy, but the glamour dust really sparkles.

Charmings

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card using the new Vintage Garden papers from Pion Design, for Live and Love Crafts.

I've used both sides of Blue Ornament, and the reverse side of 'Tags'. I love the colour combo blue and brown, and I love these papers. The edges have been distressed with a Tin Holtz tool and then machine sewn.

I've coloured Charmings, from Saturated Canary, in with distress markers and as always I've added sparkle with glamour dust.

I've made a bow with Chocolate Crispy Ribbon and used an Antique Jeweled Pearl Pendant, but I removed the loop.

Close up of the flowers.

I've used Honey from Saturated Canary, I've coloured her with distress markers and added glamour dust for sparkle. I've also used shabby blue frantage around the image.

The papers are from Alma's Sewing Room collection by Pion Design, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn with top stitch thread.

I've tucked a small packet behind the image so that I can put a tag in, and fastened pearls and shabby seam binding to the tag.

Top 5 At Fashionista

Hi everyone, just popping by to say that I have made the top 5 at Fashionista Challenges, I'd love it if you could pop by and vote for me, HERE.

I've had a week away, as you may know, and on the Monday that I was away I had an amazing e-mail, stay tuned and all will be revealed. Also, when I was away I felt like a minor celebrity, the lovely Angie from Little Darlings was on Create and Craft and my creations were there, felt a tad surreal seeing what I had made on the TV, lol. I was telling other people on the course I was on, but I don't think they got just how excited I was.

I also forgot to mention, I won Totally Tilda at the weekend too :)

Better dash, I'm away on holiday next week and I have all of my DT stuff to be made, photographed and scheduled, and I don't do organised.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Background Stamp At Tilda's Town

Hi everyone, hope you have had a nice week? I'm here with my DT card for Tilda's Town, this week we want to see your cards with a background stamp, I need to make a card for someone who is getting their first house, and this image I think is perfect (it's not the first time I've used it for this purpose).

I've coloured Root Cellar with distress markers, and added stickles to the flowers for sparkle.

I've eventually got round to using my Whimsey Alphabet Stamp set.

There are links to all of the products that I've used at the end of the post.

The rolled roses are by Kort og Godt, the roses and carnations are from WOC.

Midway Reminder for CLP Challenge #58

Hi everyone, here's my midway reminder for CLP Challenge #58. Yet another gorgeous sketch from Chelsea.

I must admit, when I first saw this Tilda in the club kit I though 'hmmm', but after seeing her coloured up a few times I had to ink her up too. I've coloured her with distress markers, and added a touch of glamour dust too. There is some Aged Aqua frantage around there too.

Here's Chelsea's fab sketch.

I've also frantaged a metal rose and some pearl string too. The papers are from the 6x6 Vintage Summer Basics from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with walnut stain.

There are links at the end of the post to the products that I've used.

A close up of my flowers.

Happy Birthday at Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, I'm here today (well I am if Mr Blogger is playing nice, as this post has been scheduled as I('m away on a training course this week) with my card for the Happy Birthday challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

I've used some of the new Pion papers, both 12x12 and the 6x6. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn.

I've coloured Tilda with Corkscrews with distress markers, I've added loads of Glamour Dust to her crown for sparkle. Around the edges I've used Aged Rose frantage.

Sandy at LLC has just got these extra cute metal roses in, as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to frantage them, I've used Shabby Pink on them, and they really do have to be seen to be believed just how pretty they are.

Here's a not very focused close up (sorry), they truly are stunning IRL.

An arty shot showing the gorgeous flowers.

Hope you're having a lovely week, I bet it's being more exciting than mine, lol.

I'm entering this into 'Pink Princess' at Totally Tilda.

Hugs,

Becky xx
