Peaches & Cream At Lili's Little Fairies

Hi everyone, my second LOTV card of today, if you want to see my last GDT card for LOTV's Idea's To Inspire then please scroll down. This card is my DT card for Lili's Little Fairies, this week we want to see your cards in the colours 'Peaches and Cream'.

I like peach, but for some reason it's not a colour I use for my cards.

I've coloured Maisie Two Balloons with distress markers.

The roses and pearl trim are from WOC, the gorgeous pearl rose organza, lace and rolled roses are from The Ribbon Girl.

Short and sweet I'm afraid, I'm off round to clear my mam and dad's house. Can you believe our local council are now charging full price for council tax for an empty house? If there was one person living there it would be at a reduced rate! I found this out the other day and it's really knocked my end in, so sorry if I've not been around this week, but I've totally lost my oomph. I ended up crying on the phone to the council, you would think in our circumstance they'd be able to offer a reduced rate (this time last year I was told after the free year it would start again at a reduced rate), I mean what services is an empty house using??? So, getting my strength together to get their stuff sorted, my mam's slippers are still in the front room where she left them, well not her good ones they went with her to hospital, lol.

On this happy note I'll go, and schedule this post.

Daisy Chain

Hi everyone, I'm here with my last GDT card for LOTV's Ideas To Inspire.

For this card I've coloured Daisy Chain with distress markers, and added stickles to the daisies for sparkle.

The papers are from Bildmalarna, I've had them for a while, I think this is the first time I've used them. I've distressed the edges with Walnut stain.

The roses and lillies are from WOC, the lace and pearls are from the Ribbon Girl.

I've enjoyed my time here as GDT, I'll be back later today with another Lili Of The Valley card.

I'm entering this into the 'Daisy, Daisy' challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge.

Hugs,

Shabby Chic With Midweek Magnolias

Happy Wednesday everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for Midweek Magnolias, can you believe we're nearly one?? Where has the year gone? Our theme this week is Shabby Chic, for me this may as well be anything goes, it's right up my ally.

I've coloured Tilda With Big Tulip Pot and coloured her with my Distress Markers. I've used more of the gorgeous new Alma's Sewing Room from Pion and distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing tool.

For my pearls I've used Melissa Frances pearl brads. and I've also added some white Melissa Frances pearls to the white organza rose trim, added one to the Kort og Godt rolled rose, and a few more of the smaller ones in the top corner.

The roses are from my WOC, the purple tinsel Dahlia is from Magnolia, and there's also some gorgeous lilac poppies.

I was originally going to have a bigger piece of card with Tilda on so I painted some chalk clouds, and sprayed a shine to set the chalk and then when I got to my papers something else took over so there's now only a hint of clouds.

For A Boy With Deep Ocean

Hi everyone, time for another challenge at Deep Ocean, this fortnight we want to see your boy cards.

This is my son's 7th birthday card. I must confess boy cards always fill me with dread, they never feel finished to me.

I've coloured Football Crazy with distress inks and used Magnolia papers. I've had the black mesh for ages and I can't remember where I got it from.

Night shift for me tonight, but then no work until 9pm next Monday night.

Lilliana At Little Darlings

Happy Monday everyone, I'm here today with my first post for Little Darlings.

I've used the gorgeous Lilliana from the latest Saturated Canary release, I've coloured her in with my Distress Markers and added sparkle with Glamour Dust.

I've used papers from Maja Designs Vintage Summer 6 x 6 pad, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn. The Kraft underneath has been distressed with Walnut Stain. Most of the roses are from WOC, but the poppies and the Shabby Tulle rose are from Live and Love Crafts. Once again I've used my Dymo, I love the versatillity of it.

The trim, ribbon and lace are from the Ribbon Girl, the 'Love' heart charm is from LLC. The pearls are from Magnolia as is the border die.

I'm entering this into the 'Love' challenge at Saturated Canary and 'Happy Birthday' at 7 Kids Challenges. I love the lips on Krista's images, every time I colour them in I am reminded of my daughters luscious pout.

Anything Goes With The Ribbon Girl Magnolia Challenge

It's time for the next Ribbon Girls Magnolia Challenge, and this week our theme is Anything Goes.

Another one of the 30th Birthday Cards I need to make. I've used an older Tilda for this one, she's from the You Are So Special collection, this card is from all of us at work to give my friend at work who is turning 30 at the end of March.

As the card is going to be written in by lots of us I made it so that it opens in the traditional way, and both sides inside have been decorated. As always I've coloured with my distress markers, but the bright pink in Picked Raspberry, one of the limited edition pads. I've then used oodles of gorgeous Ribbon Girl products, click on the links at the end to go to them in the shop. The carnation and sweetheart blossoms are from WOC and the paper is by Magnolia.

I'm entering this into the 'Birthday' challenge at 7 Kids Challenge Blog and 'Floral Bonanza' at Marvelous Magnolia.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend,

Blooming Wheelbarrow

Hi everyone, time for my third GDT card for LOTV's Idea's To Inspire, today I've used a stamp from the newest release, isn't Blooming Wheelbarrow so cute? I love the big floppy hat.

The papers are also from LOTV, they are Country Lady, I've distressed the edges with Walnut Stain, the corner die is a discontinued Quickutz die, I have one in my Blogoversary Candy, click HERE for details.

I've used distress markers to colour the image in, and added some sparkle with glamour dust. The rolled roses and chrysanths are from The Ribbon Girl, but there are links at the end of my post.

The roses, lilies and cherry blossoms are from WOC, and I've added stickles to the flowers for sparkle.

Tilda With Big Ice Cream

Hi everyone, a bit later than planned, but the last two days have ran away with me. It's half term, and yesterday we went to a birthday party, but then had to wait around 12-3 for a call to go round to my mam's house for something, not wanting to start anything, and you've guessed it, I got the call at 2.45 and I was there until 3.30. When we got home it was time to make the tea, and then I went to work 5-9. So, when I got up this morning I hadn't even coloured Tilda in.

I've got two friends turning 30 this month, but I need to make 5 cards for them, so here is one of them. I've used the gorgeous Alma's Sewing Room papers from Pion Design, unusually for me there is no distressing of any sort, it was hard enough to cut into them, let alone distress them. My original card I had in my head had more layers, but when I came to assemble the card I couldn't cover the pattern in the top left, so to make it a bit different I used a strip from the border sheet and put it along the bottom.

Tilda, as always, has been coloured with my distress markers. I've used a Tim Holtz On The Edge die to shape the card, and I've just got a Picot Edge Spellbinders set. The lilac pearls are so pretty, and along with the lace are new in.

The roses are from WOC, the rolled rose and the chrysanthemum are from Kort og Godt, the Dahlia Tinsel and the Berries are from Magnolia and Sandy has just got the purple poppies in.

I'm entering this into the 'Spring/Easter' challenge at Tilda's Town, I know it's not an Easter card, but it definitely has a spring feel to me, 'Bingo' at Simply Magnolia, I've used the bottom line of Flowers, Pearls and Lace 'Flowers and Pearls' at Bunny Zoe's and also in to the 'Birthday' challenge at 7 Kids Challenges.

Birthday Or Mother's Day With The Inky Chicks

Hi everyone, time once again for our new challenge with the Inky Chicks, this time we want to see Birthday or Mother's Day cards.

I've made a card for a friend to give a friend.

As I said a few posts back I have a few friends turning 30, so you will be seeing a few 30th Birthday cards from me. I've used a Go Kreate die for the shape of the card, the papers are from Maya Design Vintage Summer and the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

The Ribbon Girl has the gorgeous crushed taffeta back in stock, this make the most gorgeous bows. The flowers are from WOC and The Ribbon Girl, the cupcake charm is from Live and Love Crafts.

I've coloured Felicity and Blair with distress markers and added dimension with glossy accents and sparkle with stickles.

Hope you can join us this challenge.

We're sponsored this time by The Ribbon Girl and Quixotic Paperie.

I'm entering this into the 'Birthday' challenge at 7 Kids Challenges and also into 'Pink and Cream' at Wild Orchid Challenges.

I've used Watering The Flowers from the latest LOTV release and coloured it in with my distress markers with glamour dust for some sparkle. The papers are from Maja Design and I've distressed the edges before I stuck them down.

For my pearls I've used some Pearl Rose Organza, 5mm Self Adhesive Pearls and a Pearl Flourish, all from The Ribbon Girl

Happy Hump Day everyone, I'm here today with our new theme at Midweek Magnolias, this week we want to see your Blue cards.

I've used some of the gorgeous new papers from Pion Design, Alma's Sewing Room, these are all so pretty. I've distressed the backing card with Walnut Ink Distress Stain and then distressed the Pion Design paper with a distressing tool and then machine sewn them.

Tilda has been coloured with Distress Markers and reinkers, with glamour dust for sparkle. The gorgeous blue crochet trim and the luscious lace will soon be available from Live and Love Crafts, everything else has a link at the end of the post.

The roses are from WOC, the chrysanthemums and rolled roses are from Kort og Godt and the berries and Tulle Rose are from Magnolia, I've painted some picket fence crackle glaze on the flowers and some stardust stickles too.

'B' At Deep Ocean

Hi everyone, time for another challenge at Deep Ocean, this time we have the theme of 'B', so as long as you have things like a Bow, the colour Blue, a Birthday card etc.

I've gone for Blue, Bow and Birdcage. The paper looks a bit purple, well it does on my computer, but IRL it is blue. I've used the special Poppy Tilda, another one that I simply had to have.

As always I've coloured with distress markers and added sparkle with glamour dust. The papers are from Maja Designs Shall We Have Coffee collection and I've distressed the edges with Walnut Stain.

The roses are from WOC, and the sparkle has been added with Star Dust Stickles.

I'm entering this into 'Anything Goes' at Tilda's Town, 'Anything Goes' at Time For Magnolia and 'Decorate Inside Of Your Card' at The Dutch Magnolia Chickies.

Love Balloon

Hi everyone, today I've got my second GDT card for LOTV's Ideas To Inspire, I've used Love Balloon.

This is a totally different colour scheme for me, I was going through my paper and found this paper from Kaisercraft, and unusually for me I coloured my image after I decided on my paper. I've got a few sheets of this, I don't know why I've not used it before.

I've distressed all of the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink, with some gold here and there, and then machine sewn them using top stitch thread.

My artistic shot.

I've used glamour dust on the balloon and the little girl, the flowers all have sparkle with Star Dust Stickles.

Hugs,

Becky xx
