Add A Die at The Ribbon Girls Magnolia Challenge

Morning everyone, I'm a little late but I'm here now to let you know that a new challenge went live at The Ribbon Girl yesterday, it's our Magnolia challenge this week, and the theme is to add a die.

I have coloured Tiptoe Tilda in with inktense pencils. The papers are from the new Maja Design collection Coffee In The Arbour, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool.

From The Ribbon Girl I have used Monique lace, ivory rose organza trim, teeny tiny pom pom trim, 5mm self adhesive pearls, cheesecloth, stardust stickles, 15 and 10 mm WOC roses, coffee rolled roses, white chrysanths and white lillies.

I am now back at work after my surgery, and luckily for me, my second hand to be operated on is healing quicker than my first, and as it's my right hand and I'm right handed that's a good thing. I must admit I was a little bit apprehensive about having my right one done, but after I removed a rather tight stitch it has been great since the beginning.

I'll leave you with an arty shot.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Coffee Break

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card using the new Coffee In The Arbour collection from Maja Design for Live and Love Crafts. Another gorgeous collection, I find it hard to put the glue on the backside of the papers as I know that side will never be seen again, lol, I also have to have several of each or I'd never used it, I think I may have a problem!

I have used sheets from the 6x6 pad, and the little tag is also cut from one of the sheets. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool.

The image is from LOTV and is called Coffee Break, I think this is the perfect image to go with this collection of papers. I have used my Inktense pencils again to colour the image in, and there is a little dusting of glamour dust, I love how that sparkles in the light, pictures really don't do it justice.

There are links to the products at the end of the post, just click on the picture and it will take you to the product in the LLC store.

Thanks for looking,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Tilda With Maggie the Monkey

Morning everyone, I'm popping in today on Grace's seventh birthday with my card for our new challenge at Totally Tilda, for this challenge we want to see Tilda holding an animal, bird or butterfly. Being from Hartlepool there was only one Tilda I could use for this (if you don't know the connection, click HERE).

I have coloured Tilda with Maggie the Monkey with inktense pencils. This is actually William's card that he gave Grace today, so I had a bit of his input into how it was decorated, I had to convince him to let me add the one rose! The Sister tag is from the Family Sentiment Tags from Lili Of The Valley.

The papers are from Maja Design, from both the 6x6 Vintage Summer Basics pad and the 1933 12x12 sheet from the same collection. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and also some Walnut Stain ink too.

I have used the new Lovely View die from Little Darlings. The embellies William allowed me to use are all from The Ribbon Girl, I've used ivory rose organza, 5mm self adhesive pearls, stardust stickles, Emily lace and some Ivory Tulle that I have made a bow with.

Hope you can play along, for this challenge we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.

Better go and be mammy to the birthday girl.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Grace

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for Live and Love Crafts using the new collection from Pion Design, and also to let you know that there is a Facebook Showcase Challenge, click HERE to go to the Saturated Canary blog for all of the deets.

I'm a bit late as I'm still not able to do too much at once, and I ended up falling asleep for 2 hours yesterday, and then everytime I tried to venture into my craft room my daughter, aka my shadow, followed in and as I was making her birthday card we had to keep coming out again.

But here it is, my precious daughter, Grace, is seven on Sunday. It's scary how quickly they grow up.

I have coloured Miss Personality in with Inktense pencils, added some glamour dust to her tights and sprinkled some chunky white frantage aroud her too.

I have distressed all of the edges of the paper with a Tim Holtz tool. There are links to everything at the end of the post.

Here's a quick arty shot.
