Big Shoes

Good morning everyone, I am so pleased to tell you that I have been asked to join not one team, but two recently and this card is for them both. Firstly I was asked to join Mo's Dream Team, which you may have seen the blog hop last week. I have also been asked to join the team at Noor Design UK.

I have coloured Big Shoes with my distress reinkers to match the Botanical Papers from Noor! Design.

Tucked behind the image is some softboard art dots.

Isn't this image adorable, I remember dressing up in my mam's clothes when I was a little girl, and my daughter has done the same with mine.

I have distressed the Kraft Leaves with Walnut Stain ink, with some dabbings of Gesso too.

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop

Morning everyone, if you are on the Mo's Dream Team blog hop, and you have come here from the lovely Lou's blog, then you are right on track. Yes, that's right, I am now one of the designers over at Mo's Dream Team, I was so excited when I was asked to join, how could I say no?? 

Our blog hop has the following picture for the theme;

I decided to use the colours from this as my inspiration.

A girl at work is leaving, to continue with her travelling, we were just a stop off, she has come from New Zealand, and they are now working their way back. She comes to work on her bike, this image is absolutely perfect for her card, the image is even called Byebye.

The papers are from Maja Designs Life In The Country 6x6 paper pad. I got a terrible crafters injury sticking the metal corner down with my hot glue gun, I have a blister on each of my pointy fingers...

Starry Bunny

Morning everyone, I'm here today with a baby card I was asked to make a few weeks ago.

I have coloured Starry Bunny with distress reinkers, to match the Vintage Baby papers from Maja Design. I have used a Tim Holtz tool to distress the edges, and then machine sewn them

I have used some bark stars to match the stars on the image. There is only one flower on here, but I think it works with just the one.

Gypsy Gypsy

Morning everyone, recently I was given a paper pad to have a play with from Craft Consortium, it is called Gypsy Gypsy and it is gorgeous. It is lovely and thick, so that I can really tackle it with my distressing tool and not have to be delicate about it. The colours are gorgeous, as are the designs, I can't wait to play with more of the designs.

Christmas In July @ Live & Love Crafts

Hello everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts, our theme is 'Christmas In July'. Christmas cards aren't my favourite things to make, I don't know why, and colouring in a Christmas image in the heat we are having was a bit off too, lol.

I love blue and brown for a colour combo, and these Maja Design paper's from the Vintage Frost Basics collection goes fab with Kraft paper. I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool.

I have coloured Tilda in with Distress reinkers, and added frantage to emulate snow. I have had my eye on the ornament doohickeys for a while, and it hasn't disappointed.
