A Little Candy

Hi everyone, I go on holiday tomorrow (Saturday) for a week to the Lakes, and at the moment of writing this I don't have a single item of clothing packed!! But, as I have been sorting crafty stuff to take with me I have just discovered that I have two of this stamp, so up for grabs is a Brand New In Packet Wedding Tilda.

Add Numbers With The Ribbon Girl

Hi, I'm back again with my card for The Ribbon Girls Card challenge, this time we want to see your cards with numbers on them.

I was asked by a girl at work to make a few anniversary cards, and here is one of them. I've used Together Forever, I think this image is perfect for anniversaries, I've used it a few times now for such occasions. 

I've coloured the image in with distress markers.

Photo Inspiration At LLC

Morning everyone, 1st of the month and time once again for our challenge at Live And Love Crafts. This month we have a photo inspiration for you,

Isn't this the shabbiest collage inspiration you've seen? I went along the pink and green flowery route.

I've used the soon to be released Butterfly Baby rubber stamp from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, I've coloured it in with distress markers.

The papers are from Maja Designs Sofiero collection, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink and also with a Tim Holtz tool.

Choose A Technique At Saturated Canary

Hi everyone, hopefully this will work as I am currently in the Lake District and I am relying on Mr. Blogger to play nice.

Our new challenge at Saturated Canary is a great one, it was chosen by the lovely Ruby, we want to see you use either/or clouds, a dotty background or use the feint line technique, or all three ;)

I've used the feint line technique, I love this method, I forget how much fun it is.

I've stamped Ratatouille rubber stamp using Cloudy Blue Adirondack ink, and using a cotton bud I put black Stazon on her facial features. I also find it easier if I have a properly stamped image to use to refer to.

The papers are from Maja Design Shall We Have Coffee Collection. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink.

Once Upon A Time At Midweek Magnolias.

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for the 'Once Upon A Time' challenge at Midweek Magnolias. I've sort of tweaked the theme a bit, with the stork bringing the baby.

It's nearly the end of the summer holidays, I managed to wangle my shifts so I have spent most of the time with my kids. I know they have been missing their friends, but I'm going to miss them when they go back.

I've coloured Delivery From Heaven with distress markers and reinkers, I've used rock candy crackle paint on the blanket for extra texture.

I've used papers from both the Life By The Sea and also Life In The Country 6x6 pads from Maja Design. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain and also with a Tim Holtz tool.
