Never Too Old For A Hug

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Today I have a Lili of the Valley card to share with you. I'm entering this into Lili's Little Fairies challenge, 'Fairies and Butterflies'.

I coloured 'Never Too Old For A Hug' on Thursday, with distress inks, yesterday I received this paper from Dies To Die For, it's from Inkido and it is absolutely divine, AND it has butterflies on so it fits in lovely with this challenge and also the Butterfly challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge.

The flowers, ribbon and brad are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the charm is off a friend, thanks Susie. I've also used two tiny Martha Stewart punched butterflies, and a gorgeous butterfly die.

I'm sorry about the shadows, but it is such a glorious day today and the sun is shining.

I want to take this opportunity to say 'Hi' to Sandra (craftynan). Sandra always leaves me such lovely comments, and as she doesn't have a blog I can't leave her any comments, but I do appraciate every comment I get.
Hugs,

  5. Hi Becky
    lovely card, very very pretty.
Thank you for your lovely post yesterday. I had to leave my computer switched off yesterday (so wasn't able to comment yesterday), reason being I HAD to finish my granddaughter's Birthday card to send to her in France. If I switch the computer on, I start blog hopping, & before I know it, several hour's have passed & I've done no crafting. I alway's spend so much time (too much time Hubby say's) lol, making my French grandchildren's card's. Because the French don't tend to send card's very much, when they receive my card, they love them so much that it goes to school with them, so everyone has a look, it then goes to their various clubs that they go to, it then sits on the mantlepiece for a month or two, & it then sits in pride of place in their bedroom, so as you can imagine I HAVE to spend a bit (lot) of time on them. I must be doing something right with the cards, as I have been asked to do a class on teaching how to make them in their school, only problem being I NEED to learn the language first rotfl.
    hugs
