February GDT at LOTV Ideas To Inspire :)

Afternoon everyone, my second and final card for today, the beginning of the month is always busy for me, but I enjoy making my cards, I just wish it wasn't so cold in the attic, but at least I can colour in the warmth of the front room, with the fire on :). Anne from Lili Of The Valley Idea's To Inspire has asked me to be guest designer for February, how could I say no?

I've used one of the new stamps, Anniversary Surprise, and coloured it in with distress markers, sparkle has been added to the image with glamour dust.

The paper is from MME, and I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them with top stitch thread. The roses, cherry blossoms, lilies and pearl string are all from WOC, and I've added stickles for sparkle. The Guipure Lace, button twine and charm are from the Ribbon Girl, see the end of the post for the links to these products.

Aren't they just the sweetest looking couple?

Hugs,

Becky x

  9. GDT? I thought you were permanent with LOTV, no? Either way, they're lucky to have you! Very sweet card and somewhat unusual colours for you, me thinks, but me likes. :-)

  11. Hi Becky
lovely card (may just have to get this stamp as I have a few Anniversary's coming up), lol.
I agree with you on the cold front. I am in the enviable position of having an out of this world craft studio, which my lovely Hubby designed & built for me. The only problem is it is down the garden & by the time I have warmed up my craft haven, it is time to come back in again. I JUST can't wait for the warmer day's (IF we get any this year) to come along.
    hugs
    Sandra
