Something Old at A Creative Romance

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for our latest challenge at A Creative Romance, our theme for this fortnight is Something Old.

I have coloured Little Angel from Saturated Canary with my Inktense pencils. Isn't she adorable, she reminds me of the little girls dressed up as angels in school nativity plays......

For my Something Old I have used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch, I have had this for years, and glamour dust, I swear that stuff is magic, I have had the same bottle for 3 years now and I use it loads and it is still over half full! The papers are kind of old too, well they are from last year, they're Maja Designs Vintage Frost Basics and I have distressed them to make them look old too.

Thanks for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

  6. Absolutely gorgeous, I have always stayed away from the digi images. Can I just ask which paper you use to print them onto to use the inktense pencils?

    1. Thank you. I use the same as normal stamping, the derwent watercolour pad. But, I print an a4 sheet if paper first, then use masking tape to stick some of the watercolour paper over the image, and then run it through the printer again. This saves wasting the expensive paper (and gives my daughter something to colour too). If you use genuine Epson ink it dries waterproof, so you're good to go straight away ;) x

    2. Can I ask which printer it is, I have an epson but because its a bottom feeder it won't take the card/paper as its too thick. I just love the SC images but need to sort my printer out before I buy any.

    3. Thanks for your reply, what model of epson printer is it, if you don't mind me asking. Mine is a bottom feeder and won't take the watercolour paper.
