Hi my lovelies, me again. Today is the day that we bring you our first challenge at Marvelous Magnolia, and our first challenge is 'Anything Goes'.

Something nice and easy for you to get your teeth into. Recently I was asked to make a card for my friends sort of ex SIL, by her sort of ex MIL, it's her 40th coming up and I was asked to make it girlie, I love girlie. I've coloured this special edition stamp from Doe@ding with my distress markers, and added glamour dust to the flower.
The DP is from Maja Design, from the Shall We Have Coffee collection, I love the purples and greens in this collection. I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them using Top Stitch Thread. The sumptuous bow has been made using Ivory Scrunched Pleated Taffeta.
I've also used Ivory Rose Pearl Organza along the bottom. The roses, cherry blossoms and the pearl string are from WOC, and I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the fronds. I've tucked a small packed behind with a tag in, and then fastened some trim and lace. I'm 36 so the big 4 0 is looming for me too, and I know I'm not looking forward to it so I've kept that a bit subtle.

Love your amazing creation, Im so jealous of you for being able to buy that sweet Maggie girl from Doe Ding, I cant because Im not in a country that can - feels a bit unfair ;) When you color and create using purple its always so beautiful. Purple is one of those colors I never seem to get right ;) Beautiful coloring and amazing details as well :)
