Hearts And Lace At La La Land

Our challenge today at La La Land Crafts is Hearts and Lace.

I have used quite a few of the CHA releases on this card, in fact this card was displayed at CHA. 

I have coloured Shopping Marci with distress markers and reinkers. The new dies are scalloped banner, key from the heart key and lock and the heart doily die.

All Stitched Up At LaLa Land Crafts

Hi everyone, I'm just popping in with this weeks theme at La La Land is All Stitched up.

I have used one of the new CHA releases Pinata Marci, she has been coloured with distress markers.

There are some new dies on here too, Heart Ribbon Corner Die and Scalloped Banner Die.

La La Land Crafts CHA Showcase Book Trinket Box

Hi me lovelies, here is another creation that has been keeping me busy, a Trinket Book Box.

But first of all, here are all of the new goodies being showcased at CHA.

This is something totally different for me, way out of my comfort zone, but I loved making it!

For the inside I have used the Steampunk Border die, with extra cogs too. There is also flowers, pearls and sparkles. There is also the new Heart Ribbon Corner die, I am loving the new dies in this release. On the inside cover there is a Heart Doily die.

This older Book Binding die is perfect for the outside of the book.

La La Land CHA Showcase Pinata Luka

Hi me lovelies, here is another creation that has been keeping me busy, a card made for La La Land Crafts, Pinata Luka.

I have coloured him with distress markers and reinkers.

The papers are from Maja Designs Life By The Sea 6x6 paper pad, the edges have been distressed using Walnut Stain.

Seeing Double At La La Land

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with another card for La La Land, and this week we are seeing double.

I have coloured Sassy Princess Marci in with distress reinkers, and used glamour dust for sparkle. I have used 2 DP from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection from Maja Design. I have also used 2 Filigree Corner dies and also 2 Heart Doily Border dies.

Blue, Brown and White at La La Land

Happy Monday everyone, I have been asked to be GDT at La La Land Crafts again, and of course I had to say yes.

The theme this week is Blue, Brown and White, such a gorgeous colour combo.

I have coloured Marci With Flower with distress inks, and added shabby white frantage around the image.

The papers are from the 6x6 Birdsong and Ornament by Pion Design, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain including the Heart Banner Die.

The card has been cut out with a Tim Holtz On The Edge Brackets Die.

Heavy Metal at La La Land

Hi everyone, it's Team Friday's turn now to bring you inspiration at La La Land, this week our theme is 'Heavy Metal', so we're bringing you cards with metal on them.

I've coloured Tea Time Marci with my distress inks, with some stickles for sparkle. For the metal I've used Heart Brads and Love Hangers are both from Live and Love Crafts.

The papers are from Maja Design, the blue rose is from my stash, the Chrysanthemums, Red Poppies, Kort & Godt Berries and the Roses With Glass Pearls are also from Live & Love Crafts, as is the Cheese Cloth.

I'm not sure where the ribbon is from, it was in my Ribbon Girl box, but I can't find it in stock at the mo.

I'm entering this into the 'More Than Two Colours' challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges.

New Release at La La Land

Hi everyone, today we're bringing you Team Fridays Showcase of the New Release from La La Land.
I've actually got two cards to show you today, here's the first,

I've coloured Flying Witch Time Marci with distress markers, the papers are from Magnolia.

I've used Spooky House Die, Frightful Fence die and two of the Eerie Bats Die, I've added black glitter which sparkles more in real life.

My second card is Christmas Lantern Marci, which I've also coloured with Distress Markers. The papers are from Maja Design.

The sentiment comes with the stamp, the Christmas Tree is also from the new release and is Christmas Tree Die.

Flowers At La La Land

Hi everyone, it's time once again for team Friday to bring you our inspirational cards at La La Land, the theme this week is 'Flowers', as you may have noticed-I love my flowers ;)

I've coloured Dress Up Marci with my distress markers, used a pearl for the centre of the flower on her hat and used glamour dust on the petals.

The papers are from Maja Design, I'm loving purple at the moment. The flowers are from WOC.

The ribbon and the lace are from The Ribbon Girl and the Filigree Corner Die is from La La Land.

This is short and sweet, I'm writing this post to be scheduled while I'm waiting to go to the doctors for a blood test. It's a fasting blood test too, so I've not had my required cup of coffee, I need coffee to function, lol. So after my appointment I'm off to my friends for coffee, cakes and a giggle.

Faerie Marci at La La Land

Hello bloggers,

Today it's Team Fridays turn to bring you the Buttons and Bows inspiration at La La Land.

I've coloured Faerie Marci with my distress markers, and used loads of Glamour Dust in both crystal and gold, I love how this catches the light. I've used Maja Design paper, again, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz Distresser Tool and machine sewn using Top Stitch Thread.

I've used two lengths of 15 mm White Diamond Guipure Lace and some fabby 38mm White Silky Crush Ribbon, this makes the most fantastic bows. I don't really do buttons, but I have a few Lustrous Vintage Buttons, I've looked at them for a while and I think it looks so pretty on the bow.

Most of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, but there is also a White Magnolia Shabby Chic Dahlia Tinsel.
