Summertime...

Morning everyone, hope you are all OK. This is now my favourite time of year, summer is just starting, it's nice and warm and the days are lovely and long...

For my card today I have used Raspberry Tilda from the Fruit Salad collection, and coloured her with my distress reinkers.

I have used several sheets of paper from the 6x6 paper pad 'Summertime' from Maja Design. The nested circles have been cut out using 2 of the Pierced Scalloped Nested Dies from Gummiapan and I have added height by gluing corrugated card between the circles too.

This is one of the special release dies, it's a Bridal Bow Doohickey Die.

and here is my arty shot.

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs,

Christening Card

Morning everyone, Becky here with you today with a card I have made for my friends baby's christening.

I have used the super cute Chubby Baby Feet and coloured them in with my distress inks and I have used one of the nested stitched ovals dies from Gummiapan.

Here's a close up of those super cute feet...

And my usual flowers, I don't think that I have made a card for ages without a white curled rose, and I have added a dash of darker pink with three vivid fuchsia paper flowers.

I have used both sides of Enjoying The Fragrance from Maja Designs Sofiero collection.

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Lucky Mouse

Morning everyone, Becky here with you today, thank you to Katie for stepping in for me on Monday. A nasty tummy bug had hit our house and I didn't have the oomph to do anything.

Those observant ones amongst you may have noticed this image on my desk during the blog hop...

I decided to go with a muted theme, with a few pops of pink, on both the image and by using VIVID FUSCHIA PAPER FLOWERS. The papers are from Maja Designs 6x6 paper pad LIFE IN THE COUNTRY.

Another fuschia paper flower along with a WHITE CURL FLOWER.

Unfortunately Gummiapan no longer make this gorgeous alium die :(   but the other Gummiapan dies are still available, the Chicken Wire die is available HERE and also the Stitched rectangle which is HERE. These nested stitched dies are perfect for using on images. The other flowers are a WHITE GREEN CHERRY BLOSSOM, a WHITE DAISY and a frozen pomegranate.

Have a lovely weekend, and thank you for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky x

My First Pocket Letter

Good evening, I'm so very, vey late today, I'm sorry. I have been to Bristol on a course this week, and had the chance to meet up with the lovely Jenny Hodges from Designs By Jen. It was so nice to eventually meet up with another of my crafty friends. But, I didn't get home until around midnight last night. There has been a bit of a tragedy in Hartlepool this week, a little 2 year old sadly passed away after choking on a grape, and I have needed to spend today with my babies, I think by the end of it they were getting sick of the cuddles, lol.

Our theme to follow for this week at Live and Love Crafts is to surprise Sandy, and I have even surprised myself with this one, lol. I have made a pocket letter, only with pretties not with bits to be given as gifts, if you get me.

I have used papers from the new Maja release, I do love my purples and it'll be no surprise to hear that I love this collection.

July Fairy has been coloured with distress reinkers with the obligatory glamour dust on her wings.

This is a sentiment from Stempelglede, as are the swirls, with frantage sprinkled on too.

Thank you for stopping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Add Pearls and The Ribbon Girl's Lovely Lili Challenge

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for the Ribbon Girls Lovely Lili challenge, our theme for this is 'Add Pearls'.

I have coloured the super cute Pom Pom Fairy with distress markers and reinkers, there is glamour dust on her wings for the sparkle all wings need.

The papers are from Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn with Top Stitch Thread.

Along the bottom there is some ivory pearl rose organza, along the middle there is some Grace lace and pearl trim is along the top. I have used shabby blue frantage on the rusty folk heart, fastened some natural button twine around and then popped a 10mm blue rose on. The corner is from the garnish applique set, the flowers are brown rolled rosescream chrysanths and ivory hip rose buds

Yesterday was LOTV's 10th Birthday Party, I remembered to take my camera, but it was such a blur that I forgot to take ,any pictures, but when we had our group pic at the end I got Grace to get a few pics.

It was such a fab day, and sorry girls, I had to post this one too, I love everyone's face on this one, even if it is a little blurry.

Hugs,

Becky xx
