Good morning everyone, Becky here today, I hope that you all have had a lovely weekend. My jury duty finished last Tuesday, I was on it for over eight weeks, I have always wangted to do it and it didn't disappoint. I was on a fraud case, apparently it is one of the biggest cases that trading standards have ever investigated!
Now on to my card, as I have used two rather busy papers I decided to keep it relatively CAS, well it is CAS by my standards, lol.
I have coloured Tilda with Daisy Umbrella with my DI's to match the gorgeous papers from Maja Designs Celebration 6x6 collection.
I have used one of the stitched oval dies from Gummiapan.
And, here is the special release Bridal Bow Doohickey.
From the store I have used the following, click on them to go to the products in the shop.
Morning everyone, Becky here with you today. I have a card for you that I have been wanting to make for a while, when my daughter saw it she asked if she can have it for her birthday, lol.
I have used mini Summer Flower Tilda and Love Love Love Tilda, and a third from my stash and cut them slightly larger than the aperture on the Gummiapan Polaroid Frame die and secured them behind with double sided tape.
The papers are from Maja Designs latest collection. There are links to everything at the end of the post. This is the rereleased, special edition Bride Bow.
The Polaroid Frames are suoer cute, and work wonderfully with mini Tilda's.
I love this Insta Love Cam die, I have used a hot glue gun to give a slight 3D effect with the lens.
Hello everyone, I am so pleased to tell you all that I am now a full member of the Magnolia Design Team. I have been designing for the YouTube channel for two years, but I am now on the team, and HERE is my Magnolia Blog.
Here is a card I made for my friend that has recently had a baby, and I thought that it was rather apt for my first post there!
Good morning everyone, hope that you have ahd a lovely weekend. Here in the UK it is half term, already!! It only seems two minutes ago since they went back to school!!
One of my friends at work is 40 at the end of the month, and here is the card that I have made for her using Tilda with a Big Poppy. There is a list of products at the end of the post to go straight to the item in the shop.
I have also used the recently released, limited edition doohickey cake die, again a link is at the end of the post.
Tilda has been coloured in with my distress reinkers to match the new papers from Maja Design, just when I think that I have my favourite design they come out with another stunning collection!!
Here is a close up of the cake, I have used a hot glue gun to assemble the cake, and kept it so that the icing looks a bit 3D. I have used several of the sheets from the monochromes.
This gorgeous Sakura Branch die is now back in stock, again see the end of the post for a link.
The 40 has been cut out of some of the monochrome Maja Design paper, that matches the celebration collection perfectly, with a Roxstamps Arabic Numbers.
Morning everyone, how are you all? I'm still on Jury Duty, and I must admit I am finding it extremely interesting, if any of you have done Jury Duty you will know how much sitting around there actually is, but the time in court makes up for that. But, I am finding it extremely hard going mentally. I have always wanted to be picked for it, and it has comeat a good time in my life for me too.
There is a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and our theme is Give Love, pop over and have a look at the gorgeous inspiration the girls have made over there.
It's a relatively CAS card for me, but I didn't think that this card needed anything else added to it. I kept the Gummiapan frame die on while I distress the image, to create the frame effect. I have also used the Gummiapan splats stamp.
I have cut out a number 3 using the RFoxstamps die, these are a lovely size and they cut beautifully, I used a coordinating paper from the Maja Designs Celebration Monochromes collection. You can also see a close up here of the splat die.
This is a die from a previous Doohickey Magazine, volume 18 is due to be shipped imminently, click HERE to order yours
Good morning everyone, Becky here with you on this cold Monday morning. I hope that those of you in the UK don't have too much disruption from the snow. You might remember that two weeks ago that I said I was on Jury Duty, and I have managed to land myself on a case that is expected to run 8-10 weeks, so no nights, lates or weekends for me for a while, yay!!!
For today's card I have used some of the new goodies from the You're Invited collection from Magnolia, and some older Maja Design papers, which are currently on sale :)
I have used my Distress Reinkers to colour this lovely couple in, white takes a lot of effort to look not that much different. If I'm honest I never thought that I woulld use this typewriter, until I used it-I love it, and I know that I will use it a lot more!!
Here it is in close up, it is so intricate, I have forced the keys out so that they stand slightly proud.
Some of these flowers are from my stash, the ones that I have used from the shop are at the end of the post.
Here is an arty shot of the card, you can sort of see the keys on the typewriter. The sheet in the typewriter is part of the die.
