Midway Post For The Last CLP Sketch

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for the last ever sketch at CLP Challenges. Over the years Chelsea has made some gorgeous sketches, and I have enjoyed using every one, both as a member of her design team, and as an entrant. Thank you so much Chelsea for asking me to be part of your team, and I wish you every luck for the future.

This is the sketch.

Here is my card. Daisy's Jingle Bells has been coloured in with Distress Markers, and I've used loads of stardust stickles. The paper is from Authentique Tradition 6x6 paper pad, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain Ink. I have also used some Knick Knackerys and some lace from the White Lace Pack.

Midway Reminder For CLP #63

Please click HERE for my Papernest Dolls Blog Hop Post.

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for the midway reminder at CLP Challenges, once again there is a fantastic sketch to follow.

With the weather taking a turn for the worse, and all of the Christmas cards being made I have decided to use Summer Bathing Tilda, to make me remember summer, I definitely live in the wrong part of the world, I don't like the cold. I have coloured her with Pencils, her face isn't as sunburned in real life, lol.

Isn't Chelsea's sketch fab?

The papers are from Life By The Sea 6x6 paper pad

Short and sweet I'm afraid, my storage4crafts delivery has arrived while I was typing this post, so I'm going to be a busy bee, I'll have pictures when my room is finished.

Goodbye To Sweet Louise and CLP #62

Good morning everyone, this is a bit of a sad post. The lovely Louise of Louises scrapperie is putting away her crafty stash, and giving up crafting. Us, her team mates at Live and Love Crafts have decided to do a post each to let her know how much we will miss her, we chose today as it is her last day of posting at LLC. I am also teamies with Louise at CLP so I thought it was only right to combine the two.

I have been properly blogging just over 18 months, and in the time before that I spent ages drooling over peoples creations, and Louise was one of those people. I wanted to get the hang of distress inks, and Louise is one of the people whose work I looked at for ages to get tips. Her cards are always perfect, I love every detail of them, and can (and do) look at them for ages. Louise then joined LLC and CLP and I have gotten to know this lovely sweet lady. She is so sweet, kind and funny. Louise has taken the hard decision to leave the crafty world, and I can fully understand her situation, but I also know that she will be greatly missed.

Goodbye Louise, I am so privileged to have worked with you, and to have gotten to know you, but please be a stalker and visit us now and again!!

Here is the card I have made for Louise, following Chelsea's lovely sketch.

And, here is Chelsea's sketch, I've rotated it 180 degrees.

Gorgeous as ever, right??! Louise loves pink, so there was only one colour option to use.....

I have coloured Sakura Tilda in with distress markers, and added glamour dust and shabby white frantage
. The papers are from Maja Designs Vintage Summer paper pad, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink and a Tim Holtz tool.

There are links to the products at the end of my post, just click on the pictures at the end of the post.

I hope that you can join in with this sketch at CLP.

Louise, the crafty world is going to miss you, as am I, big hugs,

Becky xx

CLP #61 And A LOTV Sneak Peek

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my midway reminder card for CLP Challenge #61 made with a sneak peek from LOTV.

Chelsea, once again, has made another amazing sketch. The image that I have used is 'Nativity Angels', LOTV make the cutest nativity images that I have seen.

Here's Chelsea's sketch.

I have coloured the image in with Distress Markers, and added sparkle with glamour dust. The papers are from Pion Design, from the Silent Night collection and also from the Studio of Memories collection. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn with top stitch thread.

Sooo pretty.

CLP #60 & LOTV Sneak Peek

Hi everyone, I'm here with my midway reminder card for Challenge #60 at CLP Challenges and also my first ever Sneak Peek for Lili Of The Valley, who have the most gorgeous collection of Christmas stamps out soon.

This little cutie is 'Christmas Bunting' and I've coloured her with distress markers. Here is Chelsea's amazing sketch for this challenge, so much fun to follow, as always.

Such a fab sketch.

I've used papers form Maja Design's 6x6 It's Christmas Time pad. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink.

Sparkle has been added with stickles and glamour dust.

A close up of Christmas Bunting, such fun to colour.

I can't resist my arty shot, lol. Hope you all have a lovely week.

CLP Sketch #59

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card for the midway reminder at CLP Challenge.

Here's Chelsea's gorgeous sketch, I've flipped it though.

I've coloured Forget Me Not Tilda in with distress markers, and added glamour dust for sparkle. There is also shabby white frantage too.

The papers are from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics, I love this collection, so many pretty designs. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn using topstitch thread.

There are links to most products at the end, I thought the lace was from the Ribbon Girl, but I can't seem to find it in the shop.

My arty shot.

I'm also entering this card into the DT Call over at Totally Tilda, I've been a Tildarette before, and I'd love to be one again. The theme is 'Your Interpretation Of Summer'.

Midway Reminder for CLP Challenge #58

Hi everyone, here's my midway reminder for CLP Challenge #58. Yet another gorgeous sketch from Chelsea.

I must admit, when I first saw this Tilda in the club kit I though 'hmmm', but after seeing her coloured up a few times I had to ink her up too. I've coloured her with distress markers, and added a touch of glamour dust too. There is some Aged Aqua frantage around there too.

Here's Chelsea's fab sketch.

I've also frantaged a metal rose and some pearl string too. The papers are from the 6x6 Vintage Summer Basics from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with walnut stain.

There are links at the end of the post to the products that I've used.

A close up of my flowers.

Sketch #57 at CLP Challenges

Hi everyone, these months are whizzing by, time already for another midway reminder at CLP Challenges. Here is my card,

Following this amazing sketch,

I almost didn't get this Tilda, but I saw her coloured in, and well she just magiced it's way to my house :)

I've used distress markers to colour Tilda in, and used some Aged Rose Frantage around the image and on the butterfly, this stuff is amazing. The papers are from the new collection from Maja Design, I've used both sides of 7th May, I think this is possible my favourite ever sheet of paper. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool.

Here's an arty shot showing the flowers off and the pearl rose organza.

A close up of the butterfly.

Happy Monday everyone, the kids are back at school today, my two have actually missed it and have been looking forward to going back for a while.

I'm entering this into 'Spring With Ribbons' at Stamp and Create With Magnolia, 'Colour Challenge' at Simply Magnolia, 'Favourite Colour Combo' at Bunnyzoes, 'April Showers and/or Spring Flowers' at Simon Says Stamp and also into 'Anything Goes' at 7 Kids Challenges.

CLP Challenge #56

Hi everyone, yay it's Friday, the weekend is almost here :)

I'm here today with the midway post at CLP Challenges.

Here's my card using the following sketch,

It's something a little bit different for me, there's 3 reasons behind it. Firstly, I bought the Tinted Grandma's Attic papers by Pion from Live and Love Crafts and I was determined that I would use it, secondly I didn't have time to colour an image, my brother asked if I could mind my nephew Thursday afternoon, and thirdly I have wanted to try that technique (I think it's called broken glass) for ages, but I couldn't bring myself to try it on an image I'd spent ages colouring.

I was quite pleased how the UTEE embossing went, but I think I could have done with a fourth coat, but for making it up as I went along I am happy with it.

The papers are from Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics.

Happy weekend everyone,

Hugs,

Becky xx

CLP Sketch #55

Hi everyone, challenge #55 went live yesterday at CLP Challenges, Chelsea has come up with another amazing sketch.

Here is my card, following this sketch,

I've coloured the special release Drip Drop Tilda with distress markers. I have some candy on my blog HERE and Drip Drop Tilda is part of it.

I've added sparkle to the image with glamour dust, and to the flowers with stickles. The papers are from Maja Design, I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them with top stitch thread. The roses are from WOC and the Ribbon Girl, the pearl lace and pearl rose organza along with the cream chrysanths are also from The Ribbon Girl.

Hope you're all having a great weekend.

I'm entering this into the 'Spring Flowers' challenge at Stamp and Create With Magnolia and 'Distressed' at In The Pink.

Hugs,
