Fancy Folds at Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card for the fancy fold challenge at Midweek Magnolias, I have made a Triangle Joy Fold card, these are so much fun to make.

This stamp arrived yesterday, and I had to ink her up immediately! She is coloured with Distress Markers, Refills and Pads.

Links to the products that I have used are at the end of the post.

The papers are from Pion Designs Vintage Garden collection, I've used both sides of Blue Ornament, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

Isn't she adorable.

The inside of the card.

I'm entering this into MDUC's challenge 'Your Favourite Things', with pretty flowers, Pion design papers and gorgeous lace, all my favourite things. I'm also entering Tilda's Town 'Summer Scene', I think Tilda riding along on her bike is quite a summery scene :)

Add Lace at The Ribbon Girl Magnolia Challenge

Hi everyone, I'm back with my card for the Ribbon Girls Magnolia challenge, and this week we want to see your Magnolia Creations with Lace on.

At the time of writing this I still don't know what this little cutie is called, she's been coloured with Distress Markers and had sparkle added with stardust stickles. There is also some shabby blue frantage around the image.

There are links to the products at the end of the post.

The paper is from Maja Design and has been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn with Top stitch thread.

Living on the North East coast even on the hottest of days dipping my toe in is the most that gets put in the North Sea, lol.

Midsummer Christmas Bingo Challenge

Hi everyone, we have a midsummer Christmas Bingo challenge over at Totally Tilda starting today.

You can use any line horizontal or vertical, or be bold and go for the full house, I have done just that, lol.

The papers are from Maja Designs Christmas Collection, I've distressed the edges with Walnut Stain.

The snowflake charm is from my stash, the poinsettia is a Tim Holtz die.

The snowflakes are Martha Stewart punches, the edges have been distressed and I've added a 5mm self adhesive pearl to the center of each.

There is glamour dust on for sparkle, the small snowflake stamps are from LOTV.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Daisy and Bassett

I've loaned my laptop to my brother, so I'm going to have to update this once that I've got it back.

As you probably know, I've just to back from CHA in Las Vegas, I cannot explain to you just how much fun I had. It's the first time I've met anyone from the crafty world, and as soon as we met it was like meeting up with old friends, we just all clicked immediately. And, I have not laughed as much for a very, very long time. I'm going to make a post of CHA, so pics and bits will be there.

Today I'm here with a card made with the new Candibean collection, which is new for CHA.

Hers Daisy and Bassett, and here it is on the stand at CHA (I've pinched this off Facebook).

I've also used one of the new sentiment sets.

The papers are also by little darlings.

I've used distress markers to colour them in, with subtle sparkle added using glamour dust.

I love this sentiment set, the scrabble pieces have a lovely look to them, I will be using these, a lot ;)

My arty shot, I'll be adding links as soon as I get my laptop back, but if you can't wait drop me an email, my addy is beckyheth @ gmail.com (with no spaces) and I'll send you it.

Hugs,

Becky xx

A Perfect Pair

Hi everyone, this is a scheduled post as I will be away in Vegas at CHA, one of the projects that I have taken along with me are this pair of pictures.

I was going to make one, but I thought a matching pair would work so much better.

I've used Saturated Canary stamps from the newest release, these should be available any time now, this one is Violet Vintage.

And this one is Canary Love.

I've coloured them both in with distress markers, and even though you can't really see much, they have been machine sewn onto Maja Design paper. The frames are from Amazon, I've bought a few more as I think they look really pretty. I've added some acrylic texture paint and of course some pretty flowers.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Glitz and Glamour At Saturated Canary

Eeek, almost time for me to head off to Las Vegas for CHA, I cannot tell you how excited that I am, I leave Newcastle at 12 noon on Saturday and get to Vegas at 19:10 on the Saturday night :)

Less of that, time for today's card and it's my turn to pick the challenge theme at Saturated Canary and I've chosen 'Glitz and Glamour'.

I've coloured Fairy Wishes in with distress markers, and added loads of glamour dust. I've used silver frantage aound the image too.

There's links to the products at the end of the post.

I've used the limited edition Maja Design Sofiero collection, the edges have been distressed and then machine sewn.

Told you I used loads of glamour dust, pictures really don't do this stuff justice, it is sooo sparkly.

My arty shot, better dash, I've still got packing to do and have everything sorted for here whilst I'm away.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Buttons And Bows With Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, me again, I'm here this time with my card for the new challenge at Midweek Magnolias, our theme this week is 'Buttons and Bows'.

I've coloured Tilda with Daisy in with my distress markers, and added sparkle with glamour dust. The circle die is a Marianne collectables die, I got it from Bunnyzoes, but I can't see it in the shop anymore.

There are links to everything else at the end of the post, well almost everything, I've used a Martha Stewart PATP set, which I got off eBay.

The papers are from Maja Designs Sofeiro collection, I've distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn them.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Emily from Crafts and Me

Hi everyone, I'm here today with a card that I have made for Live and Love Crafts, Teresa at Crafts And Me has generously given each of the DT a Vintage Image to work with, I have chosen the gorgeous Emily.

I've used Go Kreate dies to cut the large card shape, the papers are the scrummy Limited Edition Sofiero from Maja Design, the edges have both been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and also with Walnut Stain Ink.

I printed the image out onto 6x4 photo paper, and then cut it with the floral ovals die, I cut along the dotted lines, and then used Bazzill to cut the same shape again. I distressed the edges around the image as my cutting skills aren't brilliant, lol.

The roses are from my stash, I've used cream hortensias, these are great for filling little gaps in your flowers.

Hugs,

Becky xx

CLP #60 & LOTV Sneak Peek

Hi everyone, I'm here with my midway reminder card for Challenge #60 at CLP Challenges and also my first ever Sneak Peek for Lili Of The Valley, who have the most gorgeous collection of Christmas stamps out soon.

This little cutie is 'Christmas Bunting' and I've coloured her with distress markers. Here is Chelsea's amazing sketch for this challenge, so much fun to follow, as always.

Such a fab sketch.

I've used papers form Maja Design's 6x6 It's Christmas Time pad. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink.

Sparkle has been added with stickles and glamour dust.

A close up of Christmas Bunting, such fun to colour.

I can't resist my arty shot, lol. Hope you all have a lovely week.

Hugs,

Becky xx
