Girl Power

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with a card that I have made with Gothica, a Saturated Canary rubber stamp from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

Sorry I haven't been around too much lately, but life is certainly getting in the way, euch! I'm starting to work 12 hour shifts during the week now too, it is easier in the long run for looking after my kiddies, but it does take it out of you. My kiddies have been poorly for a few days too, nothing major, but enough to keep them off school, they're all better now. So because of all of my time constraints I have a CAS card for you.

I have coloured her with my Spectrum Aqua markers, it has taken me a while to figure out colour combo's that I like, here is what I have used here: Skin; Peach, Fawn and Boulder with Spice for her cheeks, Crimson for her lips and Peacock Blue for her eyes. Hair; Desert, Chestnut and Boulder, Clothes; Teal and Scarlet with the shadows Black. Background; Slate, Charcoal and Black.

I love glamour dust, so I have added a little sprinkling to her dress.

Charming At Tiddly Inks

I have coloured Friends Are Flowers with Spectrum Noir pencils, the papers are from Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics, and I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool.

Berry Sweet Wryn

Good morning everyone, it's Fabby Friday again over at Tiddly Inks, you really should pop over there to have a drool at the gorgeousness the DT have made this week.

For my card I have used Berry Sweet Wryn, and coloured her with Spectrum Noir pencils, there is a list of the colours that I have used at the end of the post.

The papers are from Maja Designs Life In The Country collection, not a collection I use very often, but that is because I don't have too many sheets left, and I have to keep some for stroking, lol! I have distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn them using cream Top Stitch thread.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Cratfs, as is the lace across the middle, this is just new in, there a few new ones to choose from, I couldn't decide and ended up with most of them, oops!

Sketch at Tiddly Inks

Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Tiddly Inks, and for this challenge we have a fab sketch to follow.

Here is my take on it, using Smart Cookie Wryn, and I have coloured her with Spectrum Noir pencils.

It's currently half term here, and I am spending loads of time with my kiddies, I can't believe that they are 7 and 9, my baby boy is 10 this year-where has that time gone??

Good morning everyone, today see's the start of a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts, our theme for this month is 'Hearts', we want to see a heart or hearts on your creation.

I have coloured Close To My Heart Wryn with Spectrum Noir Pencils. The papers are from Maja Designs Coffee In The Arbour, and I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn them.

Anything Goes at Saturated Canary

Good morning everyone, yesterday saw the start of a new challenge over at the Saturated Canary Stamps Facebook Page, our theme is Anything Goes. You can make anything you want, but you can only enter once, the prize is 2 digital images from Krista's shop!

I have coloured Dancer with Spectrum Noir Pencils, I have seen a few of the Saturated Canary DT colouring in Black & White, and I just had to give it a whirl too, I love how she has turned out.

I have made the pins myself. The papers are from Maja Design, I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn them.
