Hanglar

Good morning everyone, I'm here today with a card made with a Hanglar image.

I have used the boy image from the Gert och Gertrud set, and coloured him with distress reinkers.

I have added oodles of stickles on his hearts.

An arty side view of the card..

And a top view too :)

Thank you for stopping by,

A Little Bit Of Pink

Morning everyone, I think the Gremlins are working in Google land, this has taken me forever to post!

My usual way is to take pictures on  my phone, upload to Google Photos, download on my laptop and then edit from there, but no that wasn't happening. And then when I post on Hanglars blog I copy that, paste in to my blog and add extra bits in, but the computer has definitely said no to all of that tonight, ggrrrr.

But, anyhoo, I have perservered, and here is my card...

I have coloured the girl stamp from the julhAnglar set with my distress reinkers to match the Vintage Frost Basics set from Maja Design.

Look at those gorgeous folds, I love colouring these cuties in.

And, my obligatory arty shot.

Thanks for popping by,

Hugs,

Tilda in Frames

Hello, I'm here with you this evening with a very simple make using two Tilda images and some frames from Ikea.

I have coloured both FLOWER SHOP TILDA and TILDA WITH PLANT  with distress reinkers.

I think the simple image fits lovely with the whitebackground and frame.

They are now on the wall in my daughters room, as soon as she saw them she asked if she could have them!

TOMIC Inspiration

Good morning everyone, today it is my turn to provide inspiration at the TOMIC blog.

I have made an easel card, and used Clown Tilda coloured with distress reinkers.

The papers are both from Magnolia, and even though they are from different collections they go together beautifully, unfortunately I can't see them in the shop.

The rolled rose is from my stash, but the other flowers are all out of my Magnolia drawer, but I can only see the leaves in the shop, I do like adding a bit of foliage..

Thank you for stopping by,

Morning everyone, have you all seen that there is a new Magnolia Challenge at TOMIC, and today is our brand new challenge! The theme for our first challenge quite fittingly is SPRING and we want to see at least one doohickey die on your creation.

Please pop over to the challenge blog and see all of the gorgeous creations that my teamies have made!

What says spring better than new life, so here is a baby card I have made, for the same couple that I made another neutral one for, this time I have used the Stalk image, I adore this one for baby cards.

A Fish Kisses To Tilda

Hello everyone, long time no see, I'm going to be like a bus though-nothing from me for ages and then loads of cards at once! Here is a card I made for my daughters birthday way back in June, and she was over the moon with it as I have used her favourite colour too!

The shells and sea grass are from before Live and Love Crafts closed, I stocked up on them and had loads of fun adding them to this card. Tilda has been coloured with special edition distress reinkers to match the papers from Maja Design, I don't use this colection enough!

A New Clock For My Craft Room

Morning everyone, I have been wanting to update the clock in my craft room for a while, and as soon as I saw these stamps I knew I had to use these. I actually butchered my old clock for the mechanism, lol.

I've masked the two images together, first off I stamped TILDA IN WONDERLAND using a TIM HOLTZ STAMPING PLATFORM and making sure that the paper is flush to the edge, with the magnets in place as you don't want the paper to move. I then stmped the same tilda to a post it note, making sure that I stamped where it is sticky. The next step was to cut around Tilda pretty much on the outline, and then stick this over the stamped Tilda. This is where the platform comes into it's all, lay the image that you want to appear to be behind on top of Tilda in the place that you want, in this case it is the TILDA IN WONDERLAND CLOCK, close the lid to pick up the stamp, ink it up and then stamp. The beauty of this is if you need to add more ink then you can as your paper is firmly in place, and the stamp will stamp in the exact same place again.

I have coloured Tilda in with distress reinkers, to match the papers from Maja Design, I have used several sheets from the DENIM & FRIENDS 6x6 PAPER PAD, I mean she had to be in blue, right?

I have also used distress reinkers on the CLOCK but mailny for shadow and to make it look old.

I have cut a BACKGROUND HEARTS DOOHICKEY in two, and had it overhang the image here...

... and here.

Because of the hands of the clock going round I was a bit restricted as to what I could put on the rest of the canvas, I can't put nothing on, CAS isn't my style, lol, so I used the dies that come with the CLOCK and popped a pearl on too. I have also kept the hearts from the DOOHICKEY and dotted them around the canvas too.

Thank you for stopping by,

Summertime Tilda and A New Venture

Good morning everyone, Becky here with you today and at last in the UK we have had a little glimpse of some warm weather, admittedly it didn't last for long and I was on nights one of the days, but still winter is far behind us now, yay!! So I decided to use the perfectly named papers from Maja Design, Summertime!! Check out the end of the post for the links to everything in the store.

But before my card I just want to tell you all about my new venture, that I do with my almost 11 year old daughter Grace (I would say 10 year old, but she is adamant that she is almost 11, lol). We have recently started to make and sell our own nail polishes, we use vegan friendly products, and most of them are free of 10 of the nasty chemicals (they are all at least 5 free), they are available in our online store HERE and we have a Facebook Page HERE where there will be Facebook exclusives and details of special offers and competitions, so please follow so that you don't miss out. Currently we can only post to the UK, due to Royal Mail restrictions, but I am looking into ways to ship further afield. Most of the polishes are £5 and they come in a pretty box so are perfect to treat yourself or someone else. Right, now on to my card...

I have coloured one of the Class Trip Tilda's in with my distress reinkers, this is Tilda with Froggy, I love his slightly perplexed expression, lol. I used one of the Gummiapan stitched ovals to cut her out, and placed one of the special release doohickeys behind. I don't like throwing away pretty cut outs from dies, so here I have scattered some of the hearts around the image too.

Here is a close up of the doohickey, and also of the gorgeous antique luxury ornament.

I simply adore both of the bow dies from Magnolia, and they have both been rereleased, this is the bridal bow, and I think that it is just so pretty.

Here is a close up of our gorgeous Tilda.

And my arty shot. This card is quite clean and simple for me, but when I have used so many gorgeous products I can't bring myself to cover them up.

From the store I have used;
Tilda With Froggy
Maja Design Summertime 6x6 Paper Pad
Magnolia Special Release Bridal Bow Doohickey
Magnolia Special Release Background Hearts Doohickey
Gummiapan Nesting Oval Dies
Antique Luxury Ornament

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Sightseeing Tilda

Good morning everyone, Becky here with you today. The days here are slowly getting longer and warmer, and I am liking it, I really don't like the dark and cold.

Today I have used a few of the new goodies that Suha has in store, Tilda is from the Class Trip collection.

This cutie is Sightseeing Tilda, I have a list at the end of the post that will take you to the items that I have used instore. I have coloured her with distress reinkers to match the Denim & Friends collection from Maja Design.

This die is one of the re-released ones that have recently been released, this is Background Hearts and I have used Aquamarine monochrome from the same Maja Design paper collection.

I just had to use the Insta-Cam die, to match the camera that Tilda has round her neck.

Isn't this suitcase die the absolute cutest? I have used a few tiny brads to fasten the handle to the case, and then added a few flowers just because I can, lol.

Here is a close up of our gorgeous Tilda.

And my arty shot.

From the store I have used;

Class Trip - Sightseeing Tilda
Class Trip - Suitcase Die
Specila Release - Background Hearts
World Wide Web - Insta Love Cam
Maja Design - Denim & Friends - Heartbreaker
Maja Design - Denim & Friends - Fashion
Maja Design - Monochromes Shades of Denim - Aquamarine

Than you for popping by,

April Showers Brings Forth May Flowers

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well. Recently we have had so much rain in the UK, so here hoping the saying April Showers bring forth May Flowers is correct. I do love this time of year though, all of the new flowers starting to peek through, and knowing that summer is on it's way.

This is one of the newest Tilda's, and she hasn't got a name yet, she is from the add on Doohickey Volume 18 kit, and I thought she was perfect for this time of year! I have used my DI's to colour her in and match the Maja Design papers, as always there is a list at the end of the post with links direct to the products in Suha's shop.

I love this Sakura Branch, and how you can add as many flowers as you want, I have used papers from Maja Designs monochromes as they match the papers perfectly.

Along with the two tags behind the image, this vase is from the Volume 18 Doohickey magazine, and I have added a lilac to it, and lots of sparkle. Also tucked behing the image there is a hens net die from Gummiapan.

Some of the flowers that Suha stocks.

I have used a Gummiapan Stitched Nesting die to cut Tilda out.

My 'Arty' shot :)

From the store I have used:

Magnolia Sakura Branch Die
Gummiapan Nesting Stitched Rectangles
Magnolia Lilac Die
Maja Design Celebration 6x6 Paper Pad
Maja Design Celebration 12x12 (flower strip)
Maja Design MonochromesGummiapan Hen's Nest die
Magnolia Doohickey Volume 19 - Preorder

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs,
