Anyone For Cricket?

Good morning everyone, I'm here with you and today I have a card made for a boy for Swedish House Crafts. I don't know about you, but I struggle with these cards, I love to add my flowers, pearls, lace and other embellies to cards, but I can't on cards for boys, and I find it very hard to walk away...

As you can see I have still managed to add a few layers, and even with the stitching the Walking in the Forest papers, from Maja Design, have made this card perfectly masculine.

The dies on here are older Magnolia dies, but you could use DIE STITCHED BANNERS THINNER or DIES STITCHED BANNERS, these are both by Gummiapan and will work perfectly, or could even be layered to provide a totally different look.

Some of the sheets from the pad are perfect for using inside the card, just to give the same look on the inside too.

A little arty shot to see all of the layers on a 'boy card'.

And a close up of my cricketer.

Thank you for coming to visit today.

Make It Rectangle at Tiddly Inks

Morning everyone, I am super duper late today, but here is my card for our new challenge at Tiddlyinks and this time we want to see your creations with rectangle bases...

I have used Friends are Flowers clear stamp set, and for a change I have used my Inktense Pencils, I took these on holiday as they could easily go in my hand luggage and I had a spot of colouring before the rest of the family woke up on a morning :)

This is an extrememly CAS style for me, but I have got a load of stuff going on with me, and I am determined to not let it get my mojo this time, so CAS is better than nothing :)

I have also recently listed a load of cards for sale in my Etsy shop, it's HERE
if you want to take a peek.

Thank you everyone that pops by and leaves me a comment, I always enjoy reading them.

Okay Tilda

Hello everyone,  today I have a card made with Tilda coloured with no lines.

I have stamped her with cloud blue ink, and then coloured her in to match the Vintage Spring Basics papers by Maja.

Most of the flowers are from my stash, the curly rose with it's tendril is in the middle.

The doily was a free gift off Suha, but watch this space they might become available in the shop soon.

Thank you so much for popping by, sorry it is so short and sweet but I made and posted this before I went on my jollies, and as you are reading this I am sunning myself in the Greek sunshine.

Doohickey Card and a Discount Code for vol 16

Morning everyone, I have already posted a card that I have made with the Doohicket Volume 13 that I got from Swedish House Crafts.

I was asked to make a neutral baby shower card, and what better to use than the Doohickeys from that volume...

I have used a few big blobs of hot glue to give the little vest a bit of height as I couldn't find my little sticky foam pads, but my daughter has been in my craft room, coincidence I think not, lol.

The papers are Maja Designs Baby ones, I love this collection, it has gorgeous ones for baby boys and girls and for people who are having a surprise.

And now for the discount...

If you click HERE and type in the code BECKYSAID5OFF you will get 5% off, you must go through this link (or the one in my side bar) and type the code as you see it, and ta dah!! Oh, and you get to choose a free gift too, upto the value of £20!!

Swedish House Crafts....

Good morning everyone, I am soooo excited to eventually tell you that I am part of the team at Swedish House Crafts, I was so excited when I got the email off Suha!!

Here is my first creation, there are links to everything at the end of the post.

I have masked Willow Branch Tilda on to a bench from an older collection, and I have colured them with my DI's to match the Sofiero papers from Maja Design perfectly. I have slightly dampened the flowers off the Sakura Branch die before I scrumpled them up, and let them dry slightly before I opened them back up.

Thank you for popping by, if you click on the thumbnails at the end you will go straight to the item in the shop.

Fantasy Creatures at SNSRC

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Squirrels Not So Random Challenge, our theme this time is Fantasy Creatures.

I have coloured Tilda in with Distress Reinkers to match the papers which are an older collection from Maja Design.

All of the embellies are from Live and Love Crafts which sadly is no more, but I do love using the shells and natural fibers on sea themed cards.

Good morning everyone, just popping by with a card I made at the weekend for my friend who has recently had a baby girl.

I didn't buy the Doohickey vol 13, and when I saw the dies in there I knew that I NEEDED it, lol, so I kept an eye on eBay as I have fell lucky before, and then one night as I was browsing before bed I saw that Swedish House Crafts had some for sale, so I quickly snaapped one up and I am so glad that I did. There is also volume 14 for sale, and the ability to reserve volume 15 for £10 too.

Regular visitors to my blog will know that this is totally different for me, it was a little tricky to do, but well worth the faffing around, well I think so anyway, lol.

I am entering this in to the 'Pearls' challenge at In The Pink

Animal Magic Challenge #199 at Tiddly Inks

Morning everyone, I have just remembered that I have forgotten to blog my card for our latest challenge over at Tiddly Inks, our 199th challenge is Animal Magic.

I have coloured Beary Sweet | Panda with my distress reinkers, as they match the Maja Design papers woderfully.

Recently I have been contemplating giving Copics a go again, and of course I have sold all of the ones that I had before... It has just been an idea, but the other day I was thinking about this, and a crafty friend was selling a copic storage stange and I thought it was fate, so I have bought the stand off her, and now just to invest in copics, again :)

Thank you for popping by,

Happy New Year

Hello everyone, and thank you all for popping by and leaving me comments, I cannot believe that I have not posted in this long!! I have had some horrible stuff happening here at my end, which unfortunately is still going on, but I am no longer going to let it make me miss out on my card making!!!

I have made this card for Tiddly Inks' Fab Friday post, it is a card that I have made for my daughters best friends mam's wedding on Sunday, which is why it wasn't posted until now just in case they saw the card.

You and Me is one of my all time favourite wedding images, and I have coloured them using my distress reinkers.

Thank you for popping by, and I promise I will be back soon.
