Morning everyone, I'm here today, a little late, with this months Magnolia only challenge over at The Ribbon Girl. I had to make my tag this morning, as always I was running last minute, and yesterday Grace and I spent a lovely day with Mary and Andrea, from the Ribbon Girl. We met the super cute, and adorable Haggis, spent some time colouring, but mostly we sat chatting and enjoying the lovely weather and watched the occasional plane fly over from Sunderland airshow. It was a perfect day, thank you ladies, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Now, on to my tag...
I have coloured Tilda With Rose Lace Dress with Inktense pencils onto Kraft, I'm going to have to get more Kraft as I love this affect. The tag has been cut using a Go Kreate die, and I have taped cream teeny tiny pom pom trim between two tags. The bow is made from ivory faux silk, with some chocolate brown hemp twine with a brass button charm. I couldn't not have flowers on, so there is a ivory rolled rose and a couple of sweetheart blossoms too.
We are sponsored by Magnolia and the Ribbon Girl.
Hugs,
Becky xx

Hi Becky. Love this pretty tag. Beautiful colouring and sweet pom pom trim :-) xx
ReplyDeleteStunning tag loving this Tilda she is so sweet .Love the stamping on Kraft card looks so good is it just ordinary Kraft card or special watercolour kraft card.? Loving the finished result and your gorgeous pom pom trim Love and Happy Crafting Hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's just normal kraft card. I use an almost dry brush, so I think that's why it's OK, I don't think it would work if you needed a wetter brush, or used a wetter medium, I've never tried with my DI's, but I think the ink would just soak straight in before you had time to blend x
DeleteThanks Becky for taking time to reply I'll give it a go as I have just bought some inktense pencils and so I'm loving your recent tutorials Thanks again Hugs Carole x
