Skating Friends

Morning everyone, I'm here with the last of my Sneaky Peaks for the new stamps coming out tomorrow at Lili Of The Valley.

With less than 5 months to Christmas, it's not too early to get on with your Christmas cards. I've coloured Skating Friends with Inktense pencils, and I have got my snow tex out for the first time this year, this stuff is fab for snow effects.

The papers are from the 6 x 6 paper pad Vintage Frost Basics from Maja Design, this collection is great for the slightly more non traditional Christmas colours. I have distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool.

There are links to all of the products used from Live and Love Crafts at the end of the post, just click on the thumbnail and you will go to the product in the store.

LOTV Christmas Images Blog Hop

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Today we are holding a Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous new Christmas products
This 2014 collection is an adorable mix of 22 cute character stamps; new vintage boys & girls, snowmen, penguins and angels

The stamps will be available to buy on the website from midnight on Friday August 1st (UK time) along with new Christmas paper pads and some useful clear stamp sets (Christmas sentiments, carols and mini images and also some everyday recipes)

The LOTV design team are all joining in, you need to ‘hop’ from one blog to another following the links and leave a comment on each card, hopefully we can give you lots of ideas and inspiration along the way for using the new images

As always there are fabulous prizes up for grabs on this hop, we don’t know where they are hidden so do make sure you that you visit and comment on every blog
We will let you know tomorrow evening which were the ‘lucky’ blogs and the winners will be drawn at random from all the comments that were left on those blogs

We have a full set of the new Christmas image stamps to give away;
1st prize is the 12 angels, penguins and snowmen
2nd prize is the 10 vintage children

Here's a list of all the blogs taking part, and remember that you will need to visit them all and leave a comment on each one to have the best chance of winning;

I have coloured Fairy On Top with Inktense pencils, there is also a sentiment from the new sets and the papers are from Snow Princess and Snow Princess solids.

I have used loads of embellies from The Ribbon Girl, I will be linking up a bit later, so pop back if there is something that has caught your eye and there will be a link to the store.

Next stop is Dawny and if you get lost you can start again at the beginning and pick the links up from there

Finally, don’t forget to stop by the Ideas to Inspire blog tomorrow evening when you can find out who the lucky winners were of the prizes before the new products go on sale

Enjoy the hop everyone, good luck!

What A Lovely Day....

Hi everyone, a little later than I wanted, but I'm here with my card for Saturated Canary, I am so busy behind the scenes with Christmas cards and trying to get ahead of myself for when I go on holiday.

I have coloured Let's Play Fairies with my Inktense pencils, I have a few tutorials for these, just have a peek in the tutorial tab at the top.

Isn't she so cute? I love her bed head, reminds me of my little girl playing round before she's even had her hair brushed, and her improvised whisk 'wand' is fab!

Sorry it's short and sweet, but you will soon see what I have been up to.

Here's my artistic view,

Make A Tag at The Ribbon Girls Magnolia Only Challenge

Morning everyone, I'm here today, a little late, with this months Magnolia only challenge over at The Ribbon Girl. I had to make my tag this morning, as always I was running last minute, and yesterday Grace and I spent a lovely day with Mary and Andrea, from the Ribbon Girl. We met the super cute, and adorable Haggis, spent some time colouring, but mostly we sat chatting and enjoying the lovely weather and watched the occasional plane fly over from Sunderland airshow. It was a perfect day, thank you ladies, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Now, on to my tag...

I have coloured Tilda With Rose Lace Dress with Inktense pencils onto Kraft, I'm going to have to get more Kraft as I love this affect. The tag has been cut using a Go Kreate die, and I have taped cream teeny tiny pom pom trim between two tags. The bow is made from ivory faux silk, with some chocolate brown hemp twine with a brass button charm. I couldn't not have flowers on, so there is a ivory rolled rose and a couple of sweetheart blossoms too.

We are sponsored by Magnolia and the Ribbon Girl.
