Summer....


Hi everyone, I'm here with you on this lovely summers evening with my card for Live & Love Crafts, I have used the new papers from Maja Design.


I have used the 6x6 pad from the Summertime collection, and coloured Tilda to match the papers with prismacolour pencils.

 

I have covered the filmstrip frame in crackle paint, and also dabbed it on too, there are also stickles on aswell.

Fun In The Sun Blog Hop

Morning, sorry, sorry, sorry, I'm running late, but I won't bore you with the details.

Welcome to my spot on our Fun In The Sun Blog Hop, you should have come here from Hellen's Blog.


Unusually for me I have a relatively CAS card, I do like to make these now and again, but find it hard to walk away, hence the ribbon and bow, lol. I have coloured 'Bug' from Baby Fairies with my prismacolor pencils, I think I may have cracked skin, this was daunting to start with, but I had so much fun.
I have also got my sewing machine out, I really am no good with CAS, lol.

Still a bit of work to go into learning hair...

Summer Sun at Tiddly Inks

Morning everyone, it's time for a challenge over at Tiddly Inks our theme this time is 'Summer Fun', I do like all of the pretty flowers at summertime so I had to go with the adorable Shy Violet.

My kids break up for summer tomorrow, and the teacher in my son's class is leaving the school, he asked me if I could make one of my special cards for her, so this is for William to give to Mrs. Walker, she is leaving the school too so I have also made her a word cloud and all of this kids in the calss have signed the frame.

I have used my Prismacolor pencils again, I am really beginning to like how I colour with these, they match the papers from Maja Designs Enjoying Outdoors and anyone that visits regulary will know that I love purple...


It does take me a bit longer to colour with pencils, than my DI's, but I love the brightness that can be acheived, but I am still trying to keep the softness that I like too-bit of a balancing act, but I am getting there.

Graduate Wryn

Morning everyone, eeek, I am so happy to announce that I am back at Tiddlyinks, I have so missed Wryn and her friends, and I have also been playing with my pencils again.


 I made this for a friend to give to her niece for her graduation, and matched York Universitys colours the best I could, Wryn - Graduate - Go Great Places is perfect for graduation cards.


 All of the goodies and papers are from Live and Love Crafts.

Shabby Wedding...


Morning everyone, I'm here with a Wedding card that I made at short notice using loads of goodies from Live and Love Crafts.


I have used one of the Wycinanka frames for the base, I used shabby blue embossing powder to shabby it up. I then built up all of the flowers, and added the bark heart last. The shabby trim was cut in two, and then the Mr & Mrs edging was distressed with a tool. I also embossed the butterfly too, with shabby white enamel.
