Add A Bow With The Ribbon Girl

Hi everyone, I'm back today with my card for the 'Add A Bow' challenge at The Ribbon Girls card challenge.

I've inked up another of my new Tilda's, and still don't have any names yet, I love her pose on this one. Once again I've coloured her with distress markers, I've used liquid pearls on the pearls around her ankles.

The papers are from Maja Design Sofiero collection, and I've distressed the edges with walnut stain.

My bow has been fastened onto a tag, which has been tucked behind the image.

I also love her hair, so lovely to colour.

My arty shot of my flowers, I've added stickles and textured acrylic to them.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Midway Reminder For Tom Boy Tilda

I'm here with a midway reminder for the current challenge at Totally Tilda.

I was asked to make this card for a girl at work whose daughter, Milina, had got her black belt in Karate, well there was only one image I could use for this!!

I've coloured the image in with distress markers, believe it or not, but white takes me the longest to colour, lol.

The papers are from Maja Design, I've distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn them.

Hugs,

Becky xx

What A Lovely Day

Hi everyone, I'm just popping by to let you know that the new collection at LOTV is available today from the shop and online from Monday.

I've used Skipping, and coloured her with distress markers, I've used a ball point glue pen to add glamour dust on to the dots of her dress.

I've used the lush Sofiero collection from Maja Design, again, and distressed the edges with walnut stain. I've used a Tim Holtz on the edge die to shape the card.

The sentiment is also from the DP. There are links to everything at the end of the post.

I've eventually got round to using one of my new Doohickeys, it is cuter than I thought.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Celebrate At Saturated Canary

Hi everyone another post from me today. I'm here with my DT card for the new challenge at Saturated Canary, our challenge this fortnight is 'Celebration', so I've gone for Happy Birthday.

I'm sorry for having to put a watermark right through my image, but I'm afraid this seems like it is now a necessity as there is so many images turning up on Pinterest.

I've coloured Patches The Fairy in with Distress Markers, and added loads of glamour dust to her wings, I've also sprinkled Shabby White Frantage around the image too. As soon as I saw this image I knew I'd be colouring her in soon, isn't all of that hair fab?

The filmstrip was a present of a craft friend, thank you sweetie.

The papers are from Pion Designs Studio Of Memories 6x6 collection, I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them using cream topstitch thread.

My arty shot showing my flowers.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Wish You Were Here??

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card for Midweek Magnolias, we are now going to go live every other week. Our theme for this challenge is 'Wish You Were Here?', my stamp club kit arrived in the nick of time.

Have you seen the gorgeous new Limited Edition Sofiero Collection from Maja Design that Sandy got in at LLC on Monday? Mine came yesterday lunchtime, along with my Magnolia Stamp Club kit, and I immediately turned them into this card.

I don't know Tilda's name yet, I have coloured her with Distress Markers, sparkle has been added with glamour dust and shabby white frantage.

I've distressed the edges of the paper with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn them. Have you seen those adorable shells?? They are perfect for this collection of Tilda's.

The roses are form my stash, I've added star dust stickles for sparkle.

Hugs,

Tina's Sketch At Live & Love Crafts

Weesh, the beginning of another month, seriously, where is this year going? As it's the first of the month it's time for a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts. For our challenge this month we have a gorgeous sketch by the lovely Tina.

Isn't it a lovely sketch, here's my card,

Isn't it a lovely sketch? My card practically made itself :)

One of my friends at work is turning 40 in July, and I've made a card for us all to sign. I've made the card to open the traditional way with both sides inside being decorated. I've dug out a Sarah Kay image Fleur Gathering Flowers With Manon. I'd forgotten how much fun these are to colour in. I've added glamour dust and Shabby Blue Frantage.

There are links to the products at the end of the post.

A close up of Fleur and Manion.

My arty shot.
