Tilda With Ribbon Shoes

Morning everyone, I'm here today with a card with one of my new Tilda's.

I have coloured Tilda in with Distress Reinkers, to match the papers, the card was for a work colleague that turned 50 at the weekend.

I love this light blue and white combo.

In The Garden at Live and Love Crafts

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts, our theme this month is 'In The Garden'.

I know at first sight this doesn't scream In The Garden, but there is a story behind it. As soon as I saw Mom and Me at Tiddly Inks it reminded me so much of my daughter and me. Her birthday is on 22nd June, and I wanted to make her a framed creation for her wall for her 8th birthday. I have told her this hundreds of times, when we were on holiday in Cornwall, she had just turned 1, and when we were in the garden of the cottage she told me, for the first time with it not being a reply, that she loved me. So, this image takes me straight back to being in that garden.

The frame is from Ikea, and it's only a fiver, and frames cards beautifully. This is slightly larger than a card and does look great in the frame. This is the first image I have coloured with my Prismacolor Pencils, using a pencil belender, I love the depth of the colours that they give.

A Little Question....

Hi everyone, I've been asked this a few times now and I'm just putting my feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in Distress Ink colouring lessons in the North East of England?

I don't have any details as of yet, I am just gauging any response before I do anything more.

Just Arrived

Morning everyone, at Live and Love Crafts Sandy has set the DT the theme The World Is Your Oyster, and what better way to signify this than the imminent birth of a baby, with everything at their feet.

This card is for a baby shower, they don't know if they're having a boy or a girl, so these papers from Maja Designs Vintage Baby are perfect. I have coloured Just Arrived from LOTV with distress reinkers.

I've kept all of the embellies neutral on here too.

I have coloured Wryn the Mermaid with distress reinkers, I lurved colouring all of that hair, my little boy suggested a 2 tone tail and I'm really pleased how it turned out.
