Blue Christmas

Hello everyone, I'm here with you with my card for our Blue Christmas week at Live and Love Crafts.

 I have used papers from last years Maja Design Christmas collection, Vintage Frosy Basics. Unusually for me I have made a boys card, but as it's a Christmas card I think that it's OK to add quite a few embellies. I have used distress reinkers to colour Teddybo in, somehow this is my first ever Teddybo image, it won't be my last that is for sure.

This is quickly becoming my favourite Christmas collection, I love the blues and browns in this collection. Have you seen the new Sisal fibres? I must admit I wasn't sure howto use it when I get it, but I love how it looks at the base of the flower arrangements.

 The image is from Lili Of The Valley, but is one of the older ones that they no longer sell, and has been coloured with distress reinkers.

Anything Goes At Tiddly Inks

Morning everyone, there's a new challenge at Tiddly Inks and our theme this time is 'Anything Goes', pop over and take a peek at the cards the DT have made there are so many gorgeous cards there to inspire you.

 My daughter recently went to one of her friends parties, and it was an ice skating party so there was only one image that I could use for this Skater Wryn.

 I have used distress reinkers to colour her in to match the papers from Maja Design.

Add Sparkle At All About Magnolia

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for our midway reminder over at All About Magnolia, our theme is 'All About Sparkle'.

 I'm not sure if you can see but the flowers have been stickled within an inch of their lives, and the scooter has Stella Wink glitter all over, this gives a lovely subtle shimmer, but is so hard to pick up on photo's.

I have used my distress reinkers to colour Tilda in to match the Maja Design papers, Coffee In The Arbour. I made this card for my ex boss who was 60 yesterday, her and her husband often go on motorbike holidays, she is always the passenger, but I still thought that this image was rather apt.
