Happy Saturday,

I've just logged on and I have so much to do, but I've just noticed that the National Craft Month Challenge over at LOTV's Idea's To Inspire is about to close in 50 minutes that I better do this first. I'm also entering this card into 'Anything Goes' at Lili's Little Fairies.

I won this gorgeous stamp on week 2 of the National Craft Month. I've coloured her in with distress inks, with a few twinkling H2O's.

I'm sorry about the quality of this pic, by the time I got round to taking my pics the light had gone so I had to use my photo tent with lights for the first time. Practise needed methinks, lol.

Short and sweet, but I will be back soon with another card and my candy winner.

Daisy

Happy Wednesday everyone,

We have another challenge over at My Mums Craft Shop Challenges, and this week we want to see your creations where you've used a stamp. We're sponsored this week by My Mums Craft Shop.

Here's my card,

I've had Daisy by Elisabeth Bell for ages, and I don't think I've ever inked her up. I don't know why, as she is gorgeous and so lovely to colour. I was going to do a background, but thought she looked to sweet and dreamy against the white.

I've coloured her in with distress inks.

Pop over to MMCS and show us your cards,

Tilda Catching Stars

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is having as lovely weather as we are, I've actually been out today without my cardie on, lol.

I've not been around blogland much this past week, for some reason it's not been a good week for me.

Here's my card,

I'm entering this card into MDUC where the challenge this week is 'Bingo', I've chosen the top line, Lace-two types, Die Cut &/or punch-Nesties, border die and punched Martha Stewart leaves and Ribbon-seam binding, twice. I've also sneaked a few flowers on, but not many by my standards, lol.

The paper is from Pion, and I've distressed all of the edges with Walnut Stain, and touched places with gold pen. The flowers, ribbon and lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The mini pearls were sat on my desk and this card just asked for them. I'm also entering this card into Papertake Weekly Challenge where there is a fab sketch to follow.

Tilda catching stars has been coloured with Distress Inks. I'm hoping I can get myself out of this mood soon, I'm even annoying myself, lol.

GDT

Have any of you noticed the GDT banner I've been displaying for the last few weeks? I won a Guest DT spot at Simply Magnolia, I couldn't believe it when I saw my name there, I had to click on the link several times to make sure it was me, lol!

Here's my card for the 'Dies/Punches and Ribbons' challenge.

Once again I've used some gorgeous Pion papers, I've used Doohickey border dies, the tag is a Doohickey die too. The corner die is a discontinued Quickutz die. The fronts have been punched using a Martha Stewart punch. The gorgeous ribbons are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I'm loving this silk ribbon at the mo.

The flowers are also from Wild Orchid Crafts, my little charm is off ebay and I picked it up yonks ago. The 'Hugs' sentiment are actually diddy die cuts too, the die arrived while I was assembling the card and well it'd have been rude not to have used it, lol.

I've masked Tilda onto a fence, and coloured the image in with distress inks. Have a look at my candy, just click on the picture on the top right, there's still a few days to go.

The butterfly edge die is one of my new purchases from My Mum's Craft Shop and I've added liquid pearls and distressed the edges in gold. The doily is a Cheery Lynn doily die, and the tag is a doohickey die. The flowers and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

1-2-3!

Hi,

Back, as promised, with my second post of the day.

The challenge this week over at Midweek Magnolias is 1-2-3, they want 1 ribbon, check which is from the ribbon girl, and is so sparkly it has to be seen in the flesh, as it were. 2 pearls, I've used pearl brads from Wild Orchid Crafts on my die cut hinges, and finally 3 flowers, which are also from WOC.

Tilda Princess Of The Valley has been coloured in with Distress Inks. The papers are from K&Co, and have had the edges distressed with Victorian Velvet ink.

I work in the Path Lab at our local hospital, and my GP won't let me return to work until she knows I'm right in the head, I wasn't before so I don't know how she's going to tell, lol. But, occupational health want to see me every so often, just to make sure I'm OK (and not taking the p*** as well I suppose, after all I do work for the NHS). Well, it was one of my friends at works birthdays today, so I popped in for a cuppa and cake with her, it was so nice for a catch up gossip with some of the nice girlies from work, the 'quick' cuppa lasted almost two hours, oops, and went over several breaks-but, I actually quite enjoyed it.

Dieing For A Challenge

Happy Thursday Everyone,

I cannot believe the weather we're having, it's absolutely gorgeous. Today I've got two posts again for you, I don't know what's happening to me, lol. I was dead pleased today to see I came in the Top 3 at 'Lilies Little Fairies', and yesterday I saw that I won the prize for week number two on the LOTV Ideas To Inspire National Craft Month Challenge, phew.

Here's the first of my cards, it's for the new challenge blog from Dies to Die for, and the challenge blog is Dieing For A Challenge, this is their second challenge, and I've only just found it. It's a monthly challenge, and you have to have a Dies to Die For product on there, which is easy seeing as though I spend a small fortune there, lol!

The challenge this month is Blue and Brown. I've used Elisabeth Bell's 'Sunkissed' Little Cottage Cutie from Whimsey Stamps, from Dies to Die For. I've coloured her in with Distress Inks, and added a few liquid pearls and glamour dust.

The striped brown paper is from Inkido, again from Dies to Die for, this is absolutely gorgeous, if like me you love Pion and Maya Road you will need to get some of this. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and Ive used a Martha Stewart Punch.

The Swedish Oval Cheery Lynn Die is also from Dies to Die for. In all honesty, I don't think I ever make a card that doesn't have something on from Dies to Die for, lol!!

I'm off now to do my second post, and then an hour of colouring before I pick my cherubs up from school.

The papers are from Bildamalarna, I've used Martha Stewart edging punch and my new Fiskars Photo Corner punch. The flower I've had in my stash for ages, and it's by Prima.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day everyone,

My little ones have spoilt me today, I'll show you pics of my crafty items I got at the end of my post. Here's today's card,

I've made this card for the following challenges: Just Magnolia and hAnglar stAnglar where there is a green colour theme; Sweet Stop Sketches where SSS150 is a great sketch and a colour theme, of green; Simply Magnolia's anything goes challenge and also the butterfly challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge.

The stunning papers are from Maja design, I MUST get some more of these pads, each sheet is gorgeous. The flowers, ribbon and brads are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The top stitch thread is from the ribbon girl, and I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the fronds.

I've coloured 'Hello Little Butterfly' in with distress inks, and I think I'm finally getting happy with Tilda's hair.

My presents off my kids, Grace made me this,

it's a pot for my water for when I'm colouring in my images, she's not 5 until June, my hubby said she was amazing when she made this. She chose the design herself and as there is two sides I can have one side for clean water and one for dirty.

William, my little boy made me this,

a pot for my brushes. Up until now I've just kept them in a cup. I also got chocolates, flowers and lots of kisses and cuddles.

Better dash, we're going out for our dinner with my brother, his wife and two boys. My mam used to treat us to dinner at the pub on special occasions and with money of hers that I've squirreled away she's treating us today. I've cried buckets, but smiled lots too.

Hugs,

Midway Easter Card

Tilda has been coloured in with Distress Inks, and the great post mark sentiment stamps are from Lili Of The Valley, they're a fantastic go to when you're after a small sentiment.

Two posts in one day again, look at me on a roll or what?? I must admit, I have turned to card making this week as a distraction (I've also made a few more scheduled posts too). I'm looking forward to my 7th Mothers' Day as a Mam, but it is also the first for me without my Mam. I've got her a gorgeous bunch of flowers, and I'll be going to the cemetery tomorrow, I just wish that I could give them to her and have a cuddle too, I miss her sooo much.

On with my card,

I've made this card for the 'Feathers and Flowers + Sketch' challenge over at TOMIC. I've used a mirror image of the sketch as the papers I've used from Inkido fit the sketch this way.

I've distressed the edges with Pumice Stone, the flowers, ribbon and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I picked the feathers up off eBay as I didn't have any in my stash.  The flower charm, once again is off Susie, thanks hun. The dies are from Magnolia.

I've coloured Tilda in with distress inks. I'm off to do some more colouring, so I might even have another post today, I'm contemplating making my first shaker card.

Hugs,

Never Too Old For A Hug

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Today I have a Lili of the Valley card to share with you. I'm entering this into Lili's Little Fairies challenge, 'Fairies and Butterflies'.

I coloured 'Never Too Old For A Hug' on Thursday, with distress inks, yesterday I received this paper from Dies To Die For, it's from Inkido and it is absolutely divine, AND it has butterflies on so it fits in lovely with this challenge and also the Butterfly challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge.

The flowers, ribbon and brad are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the charm is off a friend, thanks Susie. I've also used two tiny Martha Stewart punched butterflies, and a gorgeous butterfly die.

I'm sorry about the shadows, but it is such a glorious day today and the sun is shining.

I want to take this opportunity to say 'Hi' to Sandra (craftynan). Sandra always leaves me such lovely comments, and as she doesn't have a blog I can't leave her any comments, but I do appraciate every comment I get.
Hugs,
