Balloon Wishes

Hi everyone, I'm here with my inspiration card for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

I've coloured Balloon Wishes with Distress Markers, I've taken inspiration from the lovely Louise for her hair, and I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out.

The papers are from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with Walnut stain. I've used a Tim Holtz on the edge die to shape the card. I've used Shabby Blue Frantage around the image and also on the wooden butterfly. Tracy has an amazing tutorial HERE on how to use Frantage, it is well worth a peek.

I've added glamour dust to the balloon and the heart on her top, and stickles on the flowers. For the glass in her glasses I have used glossy accents.

Ribbon Girl Magnolia Challenge-Add A Die Cut

Hi everyone, there is a new Ribbon Girl Magnolia challenge, and the theme is 'Add A Die Cut'.

I've coloured Princess Tilda With Curl with distress markers. There's Aged Wine Frantage arounf the image, you might have noticed how much I am loving this stuff.

I've also used some of the new Beaded Gypsophilia, sooo pretty in purple. The paper is from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

There are links to everything at the end of the post. I've used my new La La Land Heart Banner die, I can see this being a firm favourite of mine.

Over The Threshold

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my card for the inspirational photo challenge at Lili's Little Fairies.

So pretty. 

I've been asked to make another Wedding card, and I love LOTV's Wedding images, I've coloured Over The Threshold with distress markers. I've used some air dry clay to make the frame and then covered it with Shabby Pink Frantage, I've had the mini tags for ages, I got them from eBay.

I've used one of my favourite Vintage Summer Basic 12x12 papers, I'd love some wallpaper just like this.

Hold Tight

Hi, I'm here today with my inspirational post for Live and Love Crafts. This week we have the theme of travelling, this stumped me for a while, but then I remembered this stamp, Ride With Me, from Lili Of The Valley.

I've used my favourite 12x12 sheet from the new Maja Design Vintage Spring collection, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

I was just about to start assembling my card when the postie came with a package of goodies, so I got to use my new Reinette Lace and Pearl Lace too :)

I've used distress markers to colour the image in and used shabby white frantage round the image and on the metal corner. The teeny tags for the sentiment are from my stash.

My arty shot of the flowers and pins, you can also see that I've added stickles and picket fence crackle paint. The roses are from my stash. I've used a little packet to be able to add a heart tag behind the image.

Favourite Colour Combination at Deep Ocean

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for Deep Ocean, this time we want to see your favourite colour combination. I do go through phases, but my current favourite combo has to be pink and brown.

I've used some of the 12x12 papers from the new Maja Design collection, the edge has been cut with a Tim Holtz on the edge die and then all of the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

I've used Shabby Pink frantage arounf the image and on the clay heart.

I've used some more of the gorgeous Emily lace from The Ribbon Girl.

Once Upon A Time At Tilda's Town

Hi everyone, Friday at last! It's time for another challenge at Tilda's Town, this week our theme is 'Once Upon A Time' and with so many gorgeous stamps in this new release how easy is that??

I've coloured Happy Princess Tilda in with my distress markers, and added shabby white frantage around the image, on the memo pins and also on the rose.

The papers are form Pion Design, I've distressd the edges with a Tim Holtz tool and then machine sewn them with top stitching thread.

Have you seen how gorgeous my new lace is from The Ribbon Girl, it looked pretty on the site, but even prettier when I opened my pretty package, there is a link to it at the end of the post.

Gardener Gayle

Happy Wednesday everyone, Becky here today with my Spring creation for Live & Love Crafts. There has been roses blooming in my Mam's garden for a while, so I'm not being too far out with Gardener Gayle ;)

I've coloured Gardener Gayle with distress markers, but using reinkers/pads for the browns, I just don't like how they come out in the pens. I have also used more Frantage, that stuff is hot at the minute, Sandy is getting restocks PLUS new colours on Friday April 19th, I know I'll be getting new colours, I have them all already, they are fab. I have used the shabby blue here around the image, on the butterfly and on the rolled roses. Tracy has a fab tutorial HERE, it is well worth a watch.

The papers are from Maja Designs 'Shall We Have Coffee' collection, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink.

Here's a close up of the Frantaged butterfly, I've added a spinner and a pearl.

Sketch #57 at CLP Challenges

Hi everyone, these months are whizzing by, time already for another midway reminder at CLP Challenges. Here is my card,

Following this amazing sketch,

I almost didn't get this Tilda, but I saw her coloured in, and well she just magiced it's way to my house :)

I've used distress markers to colour Tilda in, and used some Aged Rose Frantage around the image and on the butterfly, this stuff is amazing. The papers are from the new collection from Maja Design, I've used both sides of 7th May, I think this is possible my favourite ever sheet of paper. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool.

Party Girl

Hi everyone, this weeks theme at Lili's Little Fairies is Clean and Simple. Those of you that know my work will know that I def love my embellies, this was a bit of a hard one for me....

What do you think? It's definitely Clean and Simple, it was hard to walk out of the room I can tell you, I wanted to pop pearls or flowers on, well both actually, but I stopped myself. I had to add glamour dust though, and used black top stitch thread and not a lot more.

Party Girl has been coloured with Distress Markers, the sentiment is also from LOTV, and there's nothing more to say about it, lol.

April Showers

Hi everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for Midweek Magnolias, our theme this week is 'April Showers', so we want to see water on your creation.

I've coloured Drip Drop Tilda with distress maekers, I've also used silver Frantage, I am loving that stuff.

I've used a small packet behind the image to pop the tag in.
