Once Upon A Time At Midweek Magnolias.

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my card for the 'Once Upon A Time' challenge at Midweek Magnolias. I've sort of tweaked the theme a bit, with the stork bringing the baby.

It's nearly the end of the summer holidays, I managed to wangle my shifts so I have spent most of the time with my kids. I know they have been missing their friends, but I'm going to miss them when they go back.


I've coloured Delivery From Heaven with distress markers and reinkers, I've used rock candy crackle paint on the blanket for extra texture.


I've used papers from both the Life By The Sea and also Life In The Country 6x6 pads from Maja Design. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain and also with a Tim Holtz tool.

    WOW.. This Card is Beautiful!!. And now I really see the stamp how Beautiful it is!!.. Now I want this stamp too!.... Damn you.. :o)... Fantastic Coloring.. The background makes it really Pop out!.. and I love the Background color too!.. Now I really urge to color and make cards again.. I have painted my craft-room this summer.. So I have barely got the stuff back in the room.. and This card was so inspirational with your Beautiful Coloring!!!.. Beautiful embellishments too! :o) :o)

    Gorgeous baby boy card! The banner isw too cute! I always struggle with flowers when it comes to cards for the other gender. I have this idea that one mustn't use flowers on male cards, but I think it's allowed on baby cards. :-) Sandy xx
