Saturated Canary Blog Hop

For my first project I've used Rose Red.

I've used one of the sentiments from Fairytale Sentiments Set.

The roses are from WOC, the Frantage and the Lace are from Live and Love Crafts.

The papers are from The Fruit Basket collection.

I've also used Reading Beauty.

I've coloured both images in with Distress Markers.

The papers are from the Summer Sorbet collection. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn with top stitch thread from The Ribbon Girl.

The flowers and pearl string are from WOC, the lace and the rose pearl organza are also from The Ribbon Girl.

Let's Sparkle At Deep Ocean

Hi everyone, time for another challenge at Deep Ocean, this time we want to see your sparkle.

I'm sorry about the pictures, my lens was mucky and I've only just discovered that and the card has already been sold so I can't retake the photie. I was asked to make a card for a new baby 'Eden Rose', this is the first time I've coloured in All Our Dreams, isn't it precious?

The paper is from the 6 x 6 Vintage Spring Basics collection from Maja Design, I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them. I've made the little frame with air dry clay, and then used Aged Pink Frantage on there, the letters are from my stash.

The image has been coloured suing distress markers, and I've added glamour dust for sparkle, extra sparkle has been added using shabby pink frantahe. The roses are from WOC, I've also used Kort og Godt rolled roses and chrysanths, with stickles added for sparkle. Behind the image there is a Bloomy Tag, with shabby seam binding and a Diamante Heart Charm, just for even more sparkle.

Hope you're all OK. I've done something to my back, again, and I'm on painkillers and been told to rest and take it easy. Why when I have so much that I need to do am I told to take it easy???

Add A Button At The Ribbon Girl

Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying your weekend. I'm here today with my card for The Ribbon Girl, our theme this week is 'Add A Button'.

I've coloured Tilda in with Distress Markers, and added glamour dust for sparkle.

The papers are from Pion Design, I've distressed the edges and then machine sewn them using top stitch thread. I've added white pearl rose organza along the bottom, 'Jessica' lace across the middle and at the top I've put White Church Window Guipure Lace.

The button is a Wooden Heart Button, I've used natural button twine, and covered the button in shabby white frantage.

Anything Goes At Tildas Town

Hi everyone, the weekend is here, and it's time for another challenge at Tilda's Town. This week our theme is 'Anything Goes'.

I've coloured Tilda with Distress Markers, and added sparkle with Glamour Dust. There is also some Shabby White Frantage there too.

The papers are from Maja Designs 'Shall We Have Coffee' collection, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain and then machine sewn with cream Top Stitch Thread.

Purple At Live & Love Crafts

Hi everyone, me again, I'm here with my card for Live and Love Crafts, this month our theme is 'Purple', those of you that come here often will know that I loooveee purple, when Sandy asked for ideas, I bet you can guess that this one was mine :)

I've used Go Kreate dies to make the card, I like these to be a decent size so I've used Maja Designs 12 x 12 8th April. This new collection is fab, there are so many purple designs in here, I was so pleased when I saw this collection. I've distressed the edges with walnut stain ink.

I've used the wrapping that Sandy puts around the seam binding for the tag, I've made a double bow with English Lavender shabby seam binding.

I've masked Princess Pea Tilda onto the mattress and then coloured them in with distress markers and reinkers. I've added sparkle with glamour dust and used aged wine frantage around the edges.

Lovely Lace at Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone, after a few weeks off I'm back with a Midweek Magnolias DT card. Our theme this week is 'Lovely Lace'.

All of the lace I've used is from Live and Love Crafts, the links are at the end of the post. I was sent the card from a crafty friend, thank you sweetie :)

The paper is from Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics, the edges have been lightly distressed with Walnut Stain, and then distressed with a Tim Holzt tool.

I've coloured Tilda With Daisy with distress markers and reinkers, sparkle has been added with stardust stickles.
