Hi everyone, a bit later than planned, but the last two days have ran away with me. It's half term, and yesterday we went to a birthday party, but then had to wait around 12-3 for a call to go round to my mam's house for something, not wanting to start anything, and you've guessed it, I got the call at 2.45 and I was there until 3.30. When we got home it was time to make the tea, and then I went to work 5-9. So, when I got up this morning I hadn't even coloured Tilda in.
I've got two friends turning 30 this month, but I need to make 5 cards for them, so here is one of them. I've used the gorgeous Alma's Sewing Room papers from Pion Design, unusually for me there is no distressing of any sort, it was hard enough to cut into them, let alone distress them. My original card I had in my head had more layers, but when I came to assemble the card I couldn't cover the pattern in the top left, so to make it a bit different I used a strip from the border sheet and put it along the bottom.
Tilda, as always, has been coloured with my distress markers. I've used a Tim Holtz On The Edge die to shape the card, and I've just got a Picot Edge Spellbinders set. The lilac pearls are so pretty, and along with the lace are new in.
The roses are from WOC, the rolled rose and the chrysanthemum are from Kort og Godt, the Dahlia Tinsel and the Berries are from Magnolia and Sandy has just got the purple poppies in.
I'm entering this into the 'Spring/Easter' challenge at Tilda's Town, I know it's not an Easter card, but it definitely has a spring feel to me, 'Bingo' at Simply Magnolia, I've used the bottom line of Flowers, Pearls and Lace 'Flowers and Pearls' at Bunny Zoe's and also in to the 'Birthday' challenge at 7 Kids Challenges.
Hugs,
Becky xx
