Show Us Your New Stash At Midweek Magnolias

Morning everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for Midweek Magnolias, our first challenge of the year is 'Show Us Your New Stash'.

 I got this cutie in my club kit and couldn't wait to colour him in. I have used distress reinkers, and added sparkle with glamour dust.

I have used several sheets from the 6x6 paper pad, all of the links are at the end of the post. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink. There are stickles and picket fence crackle paint dabbed here and there.

The card has been cut using a Tim Holtz on the edge die. Have you seen the gorgeous new pins and laces Sandy is now stocking?

James is Back!! LOTV Sneak Peak

Morning everyone, here is another make that I have been itching to share with you. There is a new release from Lili Of The Valley, and James is back!! He is my most favourite bear.

This gorgeous image is called James Umbrella.

I've coloured James in with distress reinkers, and added glamour dust to his brolly.

I have used some 15mm hunter green gingham ribbon, Bethany lace, pale ivory rose organza, 5mm self adhesive pearls, ivory rolled roses, cream chrysanth, beaded ivory gypsophylia, glossy accents and stardust stickles all available from The Ribbon Girl.

The papers are from the 6x6 Maja Design paper pad Vintage Spring Basics and have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and also some Walnut Stain ink.

The rest of the release is just as gorgeous.

Little Darling Rubber Stamps Sneak Peak

Hi everyone, I have been super busy behind the scenes, and I can now start sharing some of it with you, here is a sneak peek of the new Saturated Canary rubber stamp being released at CHA, so will be available to buy in February. As soon as I saw Eva I knew she would be fun to colour in, and I wasn't wrong.

I have used Caladium 6x6 papers from LDRS, the card has been cut using a Tim Holtz on the edge die, and the edges then distressed with Walnut Stain ink, and then some Picket Fence crackle paint added.

The frantage, lace, most of the flowers and the glamour dust are all from Live and Love Crafts, the tulips and the pearls are from The Ribbon Girl.

Eva has been coloured with Distress Reinkers, the ovel die is Floral Oval Die from Spellbinders, and I have used Pumice Stone to distress the edges before I removed the die, it give it a lovely frame effect.

Hopefully I'll be able to share the rest of my behind the scenes work soon.

Perfume at Live and Love Crafts

Happy New Year everyone, 2014 here at last. And, as it's the first of the month it's time for a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts, Sandy has come up with a great theme, open to so much interpretation, 'Perfume'. You can either be inspired by a perfume advertisement, use the name of a perfume to follow a theme, I had so many ideas flowing round, but then I got a new Tilda, Tilda Rose Scent, available for preorder at Magnolialiscious.

Isn't she adorable, I've used distress reinkers and markers to colour her in, and added glamour dust and frantage too.
