Boy Card, At The Ribbon Girl

Hi my lovelies, first Sunday of the month again, and time for a new card challenge at The Ribbon Girls, this month we want to see your 'Boy Cards'.

I normally shy away from boy cards, but this month it's my son's 7th birthday,  nephews 9th birthday and hubby's godson who's mam is one of my best friends' 6th birthday, so I've used this challenge to get my nephews card done ;)

I've coloured Aeroplane from LOTV with distress inks, and used chalks for the clouds. The paper is a pad I found which I think is perfect for boys cards, it's Kraft Funday from MME, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain and mounted onto Kraft. The blue and red card is kraft core-dinations and has been lightly sanded.

I've used 50mm Natural Soft Hessian16mm Brown Tea Dyed Check Cotton and Chocolate Brown Button Twine. I can't not stick anything on cards, even boy cards so I've used a stamp punch and a button from this Mixed Buttons Bag.

The challenge is open for two weeks, so pop over and show us your boy cards.

Hugs,

Becky x
