Valentine Petals

Hi, it's the first Sunday of the month, so it's time for our card challenge at The Ribbon Girl, our theme this week is 'Love You or Valentine'.

I've used one of the adorable Saturated Canary images, Valentine Petals, isn't she so cute? I've coloured her with distress markers and added sparkle with glamour dust. I've used papers from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed and then machine sewn with top stitch thread.

I've used purple cherry blossom, lilac rolled rose, white chrysanths, white aster, cala lilies and roses, then added stickles for sparkle. Isn't that rusty folk heart gorgeous? I've just got myself a Dymo, which I've used for the sentiment. I had one of these when I was little. The bow is made from cream buttio twine, along the bottom there is some tiny pom pom bobble trim and you can just see some of the pretty venise scallop lace.

Hope you're having a great weekend,

Hugs,

Becky x

  7. Hi Becky
love your card, very cheeky image.
I had to laugh to myself when I saw that you had used the dymo tape for your sentiment, my grandson is absolutely fascinated by my dymo machine & the last time he visited, he managed to use ALL of my tape's up (even the pink one) lol.
