Little Tilda

Me again, three posts in one day-again, it's getting to be a bit of a habit, lol. I'm here now to tell you about the new challenge at Tilda's Town Challenges, this week we want to see your shabby chic creations. When I saw this challenge I thought 'yay', this is right up my street, my cards tend to have a shabby chic feel about them, well that is until I come to do a shabby chic card and well..........

I've just got my Little Tilda and had to colour her in immediately, I love the short straight haired Tilda's. I've used my distress markers again, and loads of glamour dust. The paper is from Magnolias Christmas 2011 collection, I've toned the poinsettia paper down with some gesso. The edges have been distressed using a Tim Holtz distresser and machine sewn using Top Stitch Thread.

The roses are from wild orchid crafts, the White Magnolia Shabby Chic Dahlia is from Live & Love Crafts. I've also used an Idea-ology Memo Pin and some Chrysanths from Kort og Godt.

Pop over to Tilda's Town where the DT inspiration is once again amazing, I'm blown away every time I take a peek of what these girls have created.

More Than One Fold At La La Land

Hi, card number two today and I'm here with my team Friday inspiration card for La La Land Crafts, this week we're showcasing cards with more than one fold. I decided to attempt a Joy Fold Card, my first ever one, and I'll be doing more, I think it looks so effective.

I've coloured Ruffles Marci with my distress markers and limited edition pads. The paper is from My Minds Eye.

The only thing is I found this card quite hard to photo, but it's a learning curve I suppose, next time I know not to cut as much off the bigger card, if you get what I mean.

Here's the inside too. Pop over to La La Land Crafts Blog and with Team Monday and Team Friday's inspiration projects there you will not be disappointed, I promise you.

Fiona For Vilda Stamps

Hi everyone, another busy day from me today, once again I've got three posts for you. A few weeks ago I got a message from Milo asking me if I wanted to join the team at Vilda Stamps and I said yes, of course. The stamps are amazing, there is such an array of styles and I love them all. Here is the first card I created for the blog.

When my DT kit came I was totally spoiled for choice, so I let the kids pick, Grace chose Fiona (V65) and William chose the stamp for my next one. I've coloured her in with my distress markers and limited edition pad.

The papers are from Prima and I've distressed the edges with Walnut Stain. I've used pleated cruch organza and pearls from The Ribbon Girl. I've used a mix of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Kort og |Godt with the Roses With Glass Pearls are available here

I'll be back again at 10am, blogger permitting as I've scheduled my posts.

Hugs,

50 Shades Of Pink

Hi everyone, just a quick post from me today, I'm not feeling my best, but I've managed to get this card finished. I'm posting it today as I've got a busy day scheduled for tomorrow.

Today is the first day of a new challenge blog In The Pink, this is perfect for me as I love pink and girlie, there first challenge is 50 Shades Of Pink, lol. Here's my card,

I've coloured Emma Swing with my distress markers, and used some of my glamour dust to add some sparkle. The papers are from Maja Design, again, I just love their paper. I've distressed the edges and used Top Stitch Thread to machine sew them. I've used some gorgeous Pink Tulle to make the bow with a Diamante Round Spacer with a Clear Crystal Gem for some bling.

The inside has been decorated to match the front.

Along with the 50 Shades of Pink Challenge at In The Pink I'm also entering this into the Monotone challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and the Bingo Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, I've gone for a middle line of Die Cut, Free and Glitter.

Hope you're all OK,

Hugs,

Welcome to Songbird Challenges

Happy Monday everyone, I've got some great news, today is the first challenge from Songbird Challenges and this week Anything Goes. Every fortnight there will be a new challenge with a Song theme. I went to dancing between the ages of 4-14, and one of the last dance exams I took was actually to the tune of 'Anything Goes', it's funny I've done loads of these challenges, but this is the first time this tune has stuck in my head, lol.

This challenge we're sponsored by Meljen Designs, and the DT have all used images from them. I've coloured Tutu Sweet with my Distress Markers and used loads of glamour dust and liquid pearls. Once again I've used papers from Maja Design Vintage Summer pad, I love these papers. I've distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz distress tool and machine sewn them using top stitch thread. The 32mm cream fine vintage style scallop edge flower lace is from the Ribbon Girl. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, but I've toned the colours down a little by added some gesso.

The inside of the card has been decorated to match the front.

We can't wait to see what you create.

Snow Queen

Told you I'd be back soon, we've had a lovely sunny morning, but now the thunder is rumbling-I'm glad we decided on a day in today. I've really enjoyed my little self today, I've also got a DT card finished too.

I've coloured Snow Queen, which is from the latest release from Lili Of The Valley, with Distress Markers and a lilited edition pad. I've used lots of glamour dust and liquid pearls. I actually dropped this card when I was coming down from the attic, and like buttered toast it landed face down, I've managed to rescue it-but there's quite a few of the liquid pearls I'm not happy with. I'm entering this card into the 'Christmas In July' challenge at Lili's Little Fairies and I've followed a sketch at The Sketchy Challenges.

I've used paper from last Christmas from Magnolia, I've distressed the edges with Walnut Stain and a gold pen. The White Silk Ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl and the Golden Latte Shabby Seam Binding is from Live and Love Crafts. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've also used a White Magnolia Shabby Chic Dahlia Tinsel

Better go, I've got a Sunday Dinner to prepare, hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Hugs,

Becky x
