Hi everyone, I'm so pleased that Susie has asked me to stay on at Totally Tilda, our first challenge this year is masking. If you're stumped how to do this, I have a little tutorial HERE.
Our sponsor for this challenge is the lovely Nikki at Bunny Zoe Crafts.
I have masked Afternoon Tea Tilda on to the Afternoon Tea Bench, with a couple of Afternoon Tea Plants behind. I have wanted to make this scene for quite a while, and it was fun to do. I have used distress markers and reinkers to colour the image in, with glamour dust for sparkle.
I have used loads of goodies from The Ribbon Girl, cream top stitch thread, 5mm self adhesive pearls, cheesecloth, stardust stickles, cream chrysanths, white tulips, Rebecca lace, natural hemp twine, Hermione lace and small key charm.
The papers are from the gorgeous Sofiero collection from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool, and then machine sewn.
Here's a close up of my masking.
Hugs,
Becky xx
